  1. Wow, Brian that looks great. Real Hot Rod style Flames over Black it just dosn't get any better than that I also started using PPG Concept clear not to long ago I don't think I will ever use any thing else. Keep us posted on your progress. Later Al.

  4. Harvezter, I do use a powerful magnifier. For guages I use flat arcrylic craft paint for the backgrounds and artist colored pencils for the numbers and needles. This is a little tricky but remember to keep the pencils as sharp as possible and use very light pressure on them. Use the best pencils you can find, I buy mine at a local art supply store. Most of the chrome is done with a artist paint marker with a .003 tip but if possible I do use BMF but not on this Mustang. I almost always put a key in the ignition switch. It just gives it that finished look. My best advise is to practice. Later Al

  10. This is a promo I picked up a while back. The visors and winshield frame was broken. Since I couldn't keep it original When I restored it I decided to detail it with some Paint and BMF the body is polished plastic. Later Al

  12. Sorry no underhood pics it's glued shut. This model was sort of an experiment. This was the first time I used this kind of paint so it was a quick build, just a shelf model. It won't be the last one I use this paint on. Thanks to all who commented on it. Later Al

  18. Built straight from the box except for the wheels and tires (Pegasus Chrome Ts with the centers painted graphite metallic and photo etched key and keyfob and a little BMF. The paint is PPG Deltron dark green metallic base and PPG Concept 2000 clearcoat. All built in 3 days thanks to the paint dries quickly and requires no polishing. Later Al

  22. Ron the GTO is excellent. May I suggest a color? Charcol Gray In 1976 I owned a 68 GTO that was that color with a black top and interior always one of my favorites. Can't wait to see it finished. Later Al

  25. Finished this just in time for the Toledo NNL. R&R resin cab, scratchbuilt chassis and rollback. alot of parts box hunting. The engine is a Revell Parts pack Cadillac 390. Wheels and tires are from a 1/32 firetruck. Check out the pics and let me know what you think of it. Later Al
