  1. I just found an AMT/Ertl 2005 General Lee kit in my "stash." I haven't opened it as yet, but I'm betting that it has the Confederate flag on the decal sheet. If it's SO politically incorrect, we may as well take the flag out of the history books also, no?
  2. Yeah Bob, those LAZY people do that in my neighborhood as well. They're part of the "hurray for me, FY" group.
  3. Don't stop now Peter as you're "on a roll," and CONGRATS to you and your better half.
  4. Modelhaus makes some great stuff as I have a few kits from there and would love to buy more, except they would just end up on the "pile" just like the ones I have, and all the plastic kits as well. You can't go wrong by buying from Modelhaus Michael, as I would in a heartbeat. Great products and service too. BTW, I do have the Modelhaus '60 Olds convertible in my "stash" also.
  5. No need to heat the garage as I paint inside.
  6. How 'bout an instrumental called "Stick Shift" by the Duals?
  7. Lots of rain here, and the good new is that I fertilized the lawn last week and just cut it the other day. Now I can "kick back."
  8. Agreed, they serve no purpose to their company and should be FIRED!
  9. Welcome to the forum as it's a great place to be. I was in San Juan last year and it was a great place to visit.
  10. No matter what a person is shopping for, the salesperson is going to make the item sound REAL good just to make the sale. While my back is not the greatest, I do get a pretty good nights sleep and I can't justify spending BIG bucks for a mattress. Years ago we've had a waterbed that we liked and had it for several years.
  11. Austin, why should companies have to watch their employees more? If a person is hired to do a job, they should do it. This isn't kindergarten.
  12. Go with "triple Black" and you'll be glad you did as it looks SO bitchin'.
  13. Very nice, as I picked up the '68 Coronet R/T kit from Modelhaus, and hope to build it soon.
  14. Another kit I'll have to "pass" on, as I'm trying not to add too many more kits to the "stash" I already have.
  15. Casey who?
  16. Gee the only wings that I'm really familiar with. are the ones at the Hooter's restaurants.
  17. Where do you buy Future, as I need some to finish a project I'm workin' on? Thanks.
  18. My 1 year old grandson came over today for awhile and I also went to a cruise night tonight as well. I am pleased.
  19. If you can't fix your mistake, you can always make a new widow from clear acetate.
  20. I agree with you Fred, as I only use BMF over the clear and never had any issues with this method. I have BMF jobs from the early 80's and they still look good.
  21. I used to be a "scotch" drinker, and I never measured my drinks except by taste.
  22. A LOT of photos are "staged" Harry. Dust off your old Kodak Brownie and try it.
  23. I had those shackles on my '69 Super Bee and the service manager said that I was racing that car after I brought it in for a trans rebuild. He didn't want to rebuild the tranny under warranty, but the local service rep told him to "fix it." and all it cost me was $25 for a tranny rebuild.
