  1. Great Start!
  2. Thanks Carl! I was lucky that I could scrape the old glue off & save them...
  3. FILLING IT IN! I am filling in the slots under the Wings. I marked off the cut lines on 2 lengths of plastic strip. Here they are glued in place. Next I cut and filed the strips to fit tight up against the bottom of the Wings. More Coming...
  4. Looks Great! Real Nice Paint & Weathering...
  5. Yes! There is a ridge all around the "Solar Areas", it makes it a lot easier to hand paint with the ridges...
  6. Thanks Bill! Glad you are enjoying it...
  7. Thanks so much Carl,
  8. Thanks Junior!
  9. Great Idea! Great Model...
  10. WE GOT MUSIC! Here is the 8 Track Player. I used a toothpick to apply the Silver Acrylic on the Knobs. The BEATLES White Album... one of my favorites! Here it is in place on the Dash. More Coming...
  11. 8 TRACKING! I decided to add a Stereo to CAM-AIR and I thought an 8 Track Player would be a Fun choice. It's been over 20 years since I've seen an 8 Track so I Googled some images for reference. I started with a length of Plastic Strip and drilled a hole in each end. Looks like Ala Kart Tail Lights will make Great Knobs! I covered the Strip with Chrome Bare Metal Foil and glued 2 Tail Lights in the holes. I cut another piece of plastic to make an 8 Track Tape. I rounded the edges and sanded it smooth. The 8 Track Tape Titles were made on the printer. I adjusted the Printer Preferences so I could print real small. More Coming...
  12. ROCKET ON A STICK! I am making a base for the Jedi Racer and it will support the ship with a length of Piano Wire. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the body large enough to fit a length of 1/8th " Tubing. The steel wire will fit in this tube. I slipped two more lengths of tubing over the original to give it strength. They are held in place with Zap-A-Gap Glue. I positioned the tubing so that it fits inside the hole in the wings... More Coming...
  13. Yeah, I use them a lot! They come in many shapes & sizes...
  14. Thanks Johann!
  15. PAINT BY NUMBERS! I painted the rear top section of the Body with Tamiya Flat Aluminum. I am enjoying hand painting the different sections and details. It reminds me of Paint By Numbers or a Coloring Book, lots of fun and relaxing too. I'm planning to paint more sections in different colors. The Screened areas on the Wings were painted with Flat Aluminum too. More Coming...
