  1. Please be aware that this fellow, "Alex Yamill," is recasting my M/T drag radial in white resin.  He's actually selling them for more than I do!

If you want the cottage industry to continue to develop unique and interesting items, please don't buy poor-quality recasts from people who steal.

I developed a system that will throw a wrench in some of those people operation

  2. I should have my kits next week. I am pretty sure the old Good Year GT Radials that Revell used to use will fit and are the correct tire for a factory new 1983 H/O Cutlass.

The lightning rod shifters are a pretty useful item. You can't over shift with them and they are more streetable than aftermarket ratchet shifters.

Youre better off getting tires from Chief Joseph

  3. came in today had to modify the faces to fit the rings again but it was easier with the homemade tool

faces were smoothed after this, these arent the tires im including they wont have tires till at least summer.

mustang has 19s, but the 18s dont look too bad on there

the 19" ring is nice as it could be and 1" bigger than 18" only available in deep offet but you can shim the faces forward with tape if you like

  4. Looking forward to these. A couple questions if I may; are the Fujimi/Aoshima/Tamiya tires sold separately by anyone or do you have buy a whole tire and wheel combo? Also, any idea if Revell's tuner tires might fit?

Tuner tires wont fit you can find most of the aoshima soft tires on ebay pretty cheap, the masters should be here today i should have resin sets by next week without tires ill dig in my tire stash and see if i find a decent substitute

  5. Absolutely blown away that the Mustang was kitted without headlights. Intended age bracket don't mean squat- of course car guys of all ages want scale Mustangs. Versus the cost of including them? I get the whole "simple kit, easy for young builders" thing. But to ignore such a basic part, that's like asking half your customer base to ignore it. Because if I didn't know about guys like Frank casting the parts, I would say "no".
It's just marketing common sense. Two little clear parts; or the lack of, kill the look of the finished product. Where is the marketing common sense here? When I walk in that hobby store, there are literally hundreds of choices before me. The 'stang kit? "No headlights? No, thanks".

its meant to be a toy basically they shouldve done the snap and the full kit at the same time
