IIRC the "Death Proof" Chargers were supposed to be left over stunt cars from the Dukes of Hazzard movie. shortly after filming one of the Chargers from Death Proof was for sale on Ebay, don't know if it sold or not.
the Challengers may have been left overs from the remake of Vanishing Point and the Nova too probably used in some other movie or movies. there was a Nova in the movie Final Destination.
there was a yellow '69 Chevelle that made appearances in several movies, such as Point Break, White Men Can't Jump, King of the Road and in primered form, Beverly Hills 90210. many, many of these cars are kept for re-use later in other roles.

the wrecked charger was one of the dukes of hazard stunt cars, it also wasnt in that condition it was extensively repaired for the movie according to my source.

thats a sweet car

thanks, nah didnt polish or anything just swapped the wheels which i did again today for 22s. im thinking in keeping that car subtle with a dark metallic red.
that cop car is looking sweet

the red didnt grow on me it looked too much like the mach 4.

There is nothing noble in saying that you don't do it for the money. It doesn't matter if you want profit or not. Using other people's money to finance your learning curve is a bad idea.
thats what you think, those investors got their money worth and then some and i got what i wanted too. -
old builtup that kept bothering me, decided to do something about it today.

any ideas on where to find these kits? i was looking online and turned up nothing but the Jada Mustang, Corvette and GT. i really like these cars! i have an older Mach, but i think it was from Lindberg?
Dave
people slept on them i dont even know where to get them i got these around the time the movie came out at target
-
clipped the wings on the Mach, still have to clear it. the color is tamiya red metallic

-
very cool looking builds! i'm curious too as to what kit's you started with?
Dave
theyre both JADA's
-
nice shade of blue, seen too many in normal ferrari colors
-
I got this kit from my good friend, Steve Kohler of R&R Resins out of Omaha, Nebraska. I'd love to see what you can do with one of these babies. I think I might keep the Pegasus wheels, as they add to the old skool look I'm goin' for.
nice

nice truck, i think it needs a hunting rifle in there somewhere
-
these kits are awsome BTW i decided to go for that privately owned road car look. im shaving the wings on the mach 5 for a more roadster look. i plan on going with a exotic color on the mach 5. the wheels on the T-180 are lambo wides the 5s i have no idea where they came from. the color is lime pearl on the T-180

makes it easier on the eyes with bodywork. i use white paint as a base when doing light colors like yellow

Heres a way Ive heard of, I've never did it though, but it should work. First turn the can upside down, and spray it till ALL the propellant is gone (no pressure left) Now, use one of those old can openers that leave the little triangle holes and open the bottom of the can and pour it into a container. I almost forgot to shake it first. You can then store it in a clean glass jar. And pour it into You airbursh jar.
freezing it works better
