IIRC, that car represents a 1991. Not too often seen these days anymore.............the kit and the 1:1.
im sure the kit is much more reliable than the 1:1
-
nice clean five point oh
-
i loved it, those chase trucks were awsome
-
i use this

-
updated the maniac, my girlfriend insisted id change the name to The Invader after i fixed the headlights

some monster exhaust pipes will be seen here

-
started as a junk build the cowl is scratched and exagerated on purpose along with the wheels the foglights were shaved the rear lights were made smaller. i plan on going with a really really 80s prostreet color combo

-
i got a few people with the sour cream sanchez
-
i built the revell version cause i didnt wanna deal with the red plastic issues and it came out sweet
-
nice
-
japan look

-
it was originally supposed to be one color and in my genious thought since its laquer its tamiya proof. that is not the case so dont go clearing one shot with ts13 :banghead:. most of the damage happened on the passenger side so i sanded it down and gave it some grey primer for that recently replaced look.
the car itself is a Galaxie 48 chevy with crager wheels and pinstriped white walls for that mid 70s lowrider look

-
Testor's has a descent white primer........what's wrong with that? What's the advantage to Plasti-Kote?
price, bang for the buck, and it can be polished

Very true Dale. I've looked at that kit a few times but never bought one. Clean work on your behalf! Here's another heavy decal project that's similar for decal help that I've done -

i bought this kit, where did you mask off for the white backgrounds?

Hey, Hey.
At least I got the Pegasus part right

I didn't notice the Extended deck lid.
That is Radical..
What ever happen to your Louvers?

I'm sure on your 1:1 they Blew off if it was towed backwards.
had that happen Once. True story.
I was the TowTruck driver. whoops.
Gotta love Duct tape

no the car was put to the side and my cousin was taken to someones house to be helped when he came outside the window louvers were missing. he managed to find a 85 or 7 hatchback he plans on putting the twincam engine in it or a Hayabusa 4
-
those rims come with the lowrider kits
and i hope you dont put the pumps on top the trunk
nope those arent kit rims theyre old school pegasus. its a radical thats why the decklid is extended into the interior.

Nice wheels.
can't wait to see how this turns out..
my cousin said that was the first thing stolen off the car before the tow truck arrived at the scene.

ive had this car probably around the time i joined AF originally it was built the same way i had gotten my 1:1 then tried to make it as the current condition it was in before it was wrapped around a pole this winter. but along the way i decided to make it look like the way i wanted to make it a lowrider show car.
