i got it yesterday along with some paint

the VW became a pain during clear coat, i got annoyed and rushed it through.the wheels came from the maisto notchback i posted recently. the caprice was a simple repaint and refoil with a change in ride height and wheels.

Oh man, now this you reallt don't see, they are sweet when you see them over here, I love em, they make me want to get one bad!
And yes, they are a rare one, as BigGary mentioned, and desirable, but still relatively cheap, if you can find one, yeah these aren't like Hemis....The camber is outrageous, the finished is much better.

yeah i still have to find one thats in my budget with a working heater. it was sitting on the wheels in that first pic my other type 3 has the wheels this car had
-
it became obvious that she cleared it with polyurethane when easy off had no effect. then somehow all this happened in a year.
finished in 10/4/07(she dated the trim piece on the bumper from the inside)

after a year

as of 11/23 the car will become a dirt track car

-
it was either that or juvenile detention
-
looks clean on 20s
-
im in progress ive heard it has some ride height issues but wont bother me much since its been adjusted
-
after redoing my room i hit a pretty hard one but little by little
-
the car is a Maisto VW the before pic was just me messing around with tamiya weathering powder. the color is british racing green, the trim was done in tin foil, pegasus wheels. i also swapped the windshield with clear styrene because it was a bit thick and i cracked it installing it.
before

after

really? they have one coming to the states?
That is a nice build.
Cute little toaster on wheels
(as my dad would say)
yeah but it looks terrible

Wow. I have never seen that happen before. Are you sure this wasn't set on a windowsill for a while, in the sunlight? Or perhaps a lacquer clear over an enamel or acrylic clear? Looks like it's gonna need a dip in the purple pond.
well the base color is HOK, the paint was metallic nail polish and the clear was duplicolor acrylic. but ive done worse combos than this and theyre still in great condition i have one car i gave away that was testors enamel coated with future then topped with urethane.

That's just cazy.
Paint shrunk or the car grew.
Atleast it is still in 1 peice.
What Jeep is that?
1/25?
1/27?
about 1/23 but then again the new jeeps are bigger compared to the TJ
