  1. I dont like donks, but i can appreciate a good model when i see one!

    What rims are those?

I also like the 80's caprices, and allthough we dont have many US everyday driver-cars over here, we do have e few of theese,

mostly wagons, if there is any american non-vintage or classic car we got its the Caprice.

    Keep up the good work!

off a revell 32 street rod its a old kit molded in yellow

  2. made from a old ertl toy the plastic proved to be a challenge to paint but i conquered it the look is something i used to see in my neighborhood none of these cars exist anymore because the gangbangers that drove them loved having demolition derbies with them

  5. My alternative to BMF is aluminum furnace tape. You get a whole roll for a few bucks and would last most modelers many years. I've had mine for probably five or more years and the adhesive is still good. It's a bit on the thick side but I like that, it's easier to work with and durable but I can still work it into the crevices and around curves.

i use this mainly on window trim or long trim but this stuff is good but it dulls 11s like crazy

  6. nothing fancy mostly box stock but a lot of body work went into this one . the interior was done with half round styrene and the wheels and tires are from a 69 cutlass 442 the tires from pegasus. the color is a mix of hok candy hues.

  7. i have no idea how old it is but i built it while i was still in high school and while i was still in possension of the 1:1 it was probably the only car in all of Barranquitas with 17inch Niche Jetgears(3 spokes not the 5 aka Bahns) my brother bought the car from me before i moved back to the states he ended up letting it go to ###### and ended up getting stolen. im gonna build the model close too the condition that i sold it to my brother. primed trunklid, white left door door missing trim, white left side fender and no bumper turnsignals.

  8. For the benefit of us older guys, can you tell us what "Ikkidousen" means?

And while you're at it,,,,,,,,,,,what the hell is a hatchi roku?

It took me two years to figure out that the guy who kept telling me my models were "sick" was actually complimenting them. Now I have to learn Japanese?

Ikkidousen is a anime we watch lots of scantily clad Japanese girls duking it out. Hatchi Roku is Japanese for 86" refers mostly to 85 through 87 corollas like this one

  9. she did a lot of work to this one so its her best yet she filled the windows added a lip around the bottom to give it a lowered appearance she also cut the vertical bars off. originally she was to paint the characters on but saw me messing around with the decals i made for my hatchi roku and cadillac so she went that route. she even made some fillers for the seat if you look close
