4th gen was terrible and theyre off to a good start in ruining the 5th

They had a competition system on there that's why it was rough. they actually have a counter measure for the bouncing in the form of Accumulators which simulate shock absorbers.
-
some of you guys are starting to come off like Armor modellers, who cares about a scale inch
-
Hmm. I doubt very much these will be available for 10 bucks. Resin Casters just can't compete with the quantity of injection molding. Pegasus is buying thousands of those injection molded tires and wheels at one time. A resin caster can't do that kind of production. I guess that will leave you out.
Mark
This castable prototypes alone run into the 50$ range sometimes i buy low but have to put work to prepare them for casting lowest i could make mine was 20$ a set in resin and hes doing aluminum barrels i wouldnt mind flipping 30$ for a set of those vectors

im not a trophy chaser so i see no point in it.

You mean you can't just put a photograph of a car into your scanner and have a complete model kit pop out for free??
not yet hahaha i wish. i started goofing with a 3d scanner scaling up some of my favorite hot wheels

Frank, what's your technique?
Sand blaster loaded with table salt, 3m red pad and filler primer. you will have to heavily modify the sandblaster to shoot salt or get a rock tumbler fill it with salt
-
If anything its gonna cut my prep time into smoothing them, but im not going to be impressed until i try it i got a technique that only takes 20 minutes to smooth models into mold worthy ones.
-
I stopped wishing for a elcamino because with GMs infinite wisdom well get stuck with the craptastic chevy tornado
-
smoothing isnt all that hard, soaking in campfuel, media blast and filler primer cant fix
-
I use the AB version of nason never had problems

Sorry Frank if I seem to be monopolizing the forums. I haven't really posted much as I've nothing of value add to contribute.

I don't think they'd want a muscle car. They're into what they're into & they think it's cool. Who am I to tell them what to do? Different strokes, for different folks. More power to them.
Jeff
of course not theyre gonna want a FD or Supra

how many transmissions did go through, wasnt the most durable of cars.

"Model car hobby or automotive-related topics only." Seems to be automotive related.

Good for you !!
You'll have to spend every cent you make flipping burgers or changing oil for buying tires every week, but good for you !!
Never EVER let some old geezer's "views" about the real-world engineering of vehicle dynamics and handling interfere with your right to express your follow-the-idiot-herd look-at-me suspension setup ideas.
I work in a machine shop and do CAD design, try again.
Dont under estimate the intelligence of youth, got a problem with the scene then buy them a muscle car at your own expense.

Let's see here. Highboys handle pretty well for what they are. Ever driven one? Gassers had a functional purpose...to go fast in a straight line over a quarter mile. They performed that function admirably. Many lead sleds were the owner's only transportation. They had to function as cars.
"Stanced" cars are stupid, useless, wannbee-cool carp.
BUT there were a lot of poorly-done, ill proportioned, close-to-useless old-school hot rods and customs too. Ignorance and poor engineering don't have a lock on any one particular generation...but they seem to be more fashionable today than ever before.
#Aintcare im still gonna cock my wheels past -20, people like you wont live for much longer anyways and hopefully your views follow suit.

Wouldn't moving Top Gear to another network give them less viewers?
I do also think that there would probably be some public apology from Jeremy and that the show will go on but I do understand BBC as he has on so many ocations said and done things that he should have not.
Doubt it its a popular show with a strong following so where they go the viewers will go.

The only thing that could very make B the choice is Clarkson was on his "final warning" with the BBC, now, at one point Clarkson and Andy both own the rights to the show, so in theory, they could take show to another network if the BBC cans JC. But , I also read that JC sold his remaining stake in the show to the BBC, so I am not 100% sure on that part.
This is what supposedly happen
Second, as of right now, TGUSA has in fact, not been canceled, It just rumors, same as the one that says the show is returning in June of this year.
No as there have been rumors of TG moving to the Sky network

His contact info is in his page, if not you can contact him at CNAIND@ptd.net
