  1. Thanks Mike
  2. This is a replication of my 1:1 Rx-7 I had back in 83-85 and 90. Yea I sold my car to my mom and bought it back from her to have it stolen and totaled out. I used the Tamiya kit for the body and some of the interior parts. The Tamiya is a curbside and right hand drive so I picked up the Monogram and Revell kits that allowed me to open the hood and add the rotary engine. The wheels are 3D printed. The front air dam is scratch built to match the one I had on mine. As always your comments are always welcome and appreciated.
  3. Nice Celica Tony and I know that feeling about being able to build a model of one of your previous owned 1:1 cars. I had a 81 Celica and it was a great car.
  4. Thanks based on the wheels on the one in the picture it’s a 1984 Rx-7. Nice! I’ve finished this one up now and putting it in under glass.
  5. Looks awesome Warren with the aftermarket parts.
  6. Thanks Carl I’ve done as much as I can until my paint cures and I’m not sure how long it’s going to take. I’m going to build the Revell kit I have enough parts to build it so I’m going to build the car that made me to decide that I wanted a Rx-7 in the first place. It was the first gen version that I liked and made my mind up that someday I would buy one. It took me a couple years before I was able to and I actually liked the second gen better than the first gen style.
  7. Great looking Mack Superliner Alex. I like your Big Al on the door to.
  8. Awesome Brockway build Brian. Did you build a trailer for it?
  9. I tinted the side and back windows plus the sun roof.
  10. Thanks Anton. It’s brought back a lot of good times I had with this car.
  11. Any word on shipping dates yet for this one yet.
  12. Nice updates Lee glad to see you working on this one again.
  13. Wow Steve you have put more details in this 1/32 scale trailer than what most 1/25 scale trailers have. Looking forward to seeing it painted.
  14. Warren both of my detachable lowboy’s are from Stace he’s Wabatuckeun1 on this site and can be emailed at wabatuckeun@gmail.com. He’s a great guy to work with.
  15. Sprayed the body with Model Master black metallic I decanted it from the rattle can to use it in my air brush.
  16. Thanks Carl I ended up using a flat aluminum with black detailer wash to get the color.
  17. Your tracks look awesome Warren. Have you ordered your detachable lowboy for it yet?
  18. Warren I’m glad to see you back working on the dozer again. Your paint looks great and your PE parts really makes a difference. Looking forward to seeing you finish this one.
  19. I’ve been working on the rotary engine and just need to paint the fan and attach it. I’ve wired the 4 spark plugs and 2 other wires that go over by the battery. I’ve painted the chassis and exhaust system and just have it mocked up for now. I believe I’m done with the interior the door panels will be attached to the body.
  20. Thanks John I’m not sure if this one will be ready for the show next weekend. A lot will depend on how well the paint turns out when I spray it and the drying time. I’m going to use Model Master Black Metallic Enamel.
  21. Thanks Carl but I don’t think I can do the military models.
  22. Worked on the interior getting the center console installed and the steering wheel. I added a chrome bar behind the seats it was something that I added to my 1:1 car. I also was able to cut open the hood and did a mock up and it still looks like everything is going to line up nicely. I checked to see if the wheels are centered in the wheel well and they are. I still need to cut the axles down so the wheels will be inside the wheel wells. Thanks for looking and sharing your comments.
  23. Thanks Brian
