  1. Thanks German Thanks Bill, with this being a special owner ordered Barracuda and based on what Jens has said this is a very rare build but possible. Thanks Jens, I appreciate your feedback information.
  2. This is the AMT 71 Charger R/T that’s going to be my 8th 1971 Mopar for my transporter project. I’m going with Scale Finishes Dodge Q5 Turquoise that would have been a special order color “999” for this Charger. I’m going with a white interior as well.
  3. Was able to get a day off and have the weather where I could spray paint. This is Scale Finishes E7 Burgundy.
  4. John this Barracuda came out looking nice.
  5. This week’s progress I built up the engine and wired the plugs and started painting the interior. I’ve decided to go with the magnum wheels. I’m also going with the split bench seat.
  6. John nice work on the 69 Barracuda and thanks for sharing your information with using the Duster chassis. I have a 67 & 69 in my stash and I now need to get 2 more Duster kits from Hobby Lobby.
  7. SSteve awesome build on your 60 Fury wagon. Thanks for sharing your work I have one of these in my stash and now I’m going to have to buy another 57 Chrysler 300 lol I like adding the engine bay details on the JoHan kits.
  8. Nice collection of Mustangs John.
  9. Thanks for the feedback John, I’ve heard that you put the money down with your order you could make some changes within reason. Thanks German just let me know if you have any questions on what I’ve done or how I’m planning to do something with my build.
  10. Bill for me it’s less effort using the Testors body and making the adjustments to the Revell 70’s interior and chassis. Thanks Ken most of my progress is on the weekends.
  11. Coming along nicely John! Your patience and determination to get this one right shows in your progress pictures.
  12. Jens, I was checking Hamtramck today and saw that E7 Burgundy was for the Fury’s. I’m going with its a special order car with this color. Next time I’ll have to check Hamtramck before choosing my color.
  13. Bill the Revell body has more details but to swap out the front and rear grills would require a lot of work and you still are missing the side grills for the Cuda version.
  14. Well it’s been almost a year now since I last worked on the 71 Barracuda and this is one of the 8 that I’m using for my 1971 load of new Mopars I need to get back on track to finish it. Today I decided that the hood that I’m using is to narrow so I added some ever green strips on it to close up the gaps. More test fitting and adjustments with the chassis. I’m going with Scale Finishes 71 Dodge E7 Burgundy and still haven’t decided on the interior colors yet. I’m thinking about white/black or black or maybe red. Here’s today’s progress.
  15. Nice build on your Charger police car.
  16. Thanks David, it’s going on my car transporter with all 71 Plymouth’s and Dodge’s in showroom style to represent a new shipment from the factory. Thanks Carl Thanks Jeff
  17. Thanks Jim Thanks Michelle Thanks Eric Thanks Ken Thanks Larry Thanks David Thanks Rich Thanks Tom
  18. Thanks John.
  19. This is the 71 Plymouth Scamp resin body from the former Bandit resins with the Revell 68 Dart as the donor chassis. I also used several Duster parts as well. This is number 6 of 8 ‘71 Mopars for my next upcoming car transporter. Your comments are appreciated and welcomed.
  20. Finally finished. Thanks for all your comments on this build. It’s going to under glass now.
  21. A little more progress over the weekend with installation on the glass.
  22. Nice changes to the kit chassis. I chose to replace the chassis with the Duster and as noted above there is a little bit of reworking to make it fit. My WIP was back in July.
  23. I’ve started on the BMF now
  24. Here’s mine that I built when they first released them.
