Here's Emily and yours truly (disregard the ulcerised cancer spot on me crust) . She's quick ! Took a few times to capture a decent photo of her ( I still have to hold her in Tao's presence, as he's still trying to figure out this tiny love bug into the home ! Haha).

Change Is Now (alternately called Universal Mind Decoder) , which is arguably the first Country Rock song (at least in popular culture). "Red" Rhodes on pedal steel ; Clarence White and Roger McGuinn interwoven solos

Emily's mum and dad . Unusual to see sire and queen chillaxin' together .

I just adopted 'Emily' this evening at 1830. Drove 40 miles to get her ; daughter of a feral mum (a virtual "mini me").
That's her in the background, left-of-centre ; mum's in the foreground.

RE: Microchipping : One of the other big reasons for microchipping felines (any companion animal, really) comes down to locale -- I live in earthquake country, and when a big one comes along, my bratty Tao may escape or hide or both should the apartment come apart (think : Northridge 1994 ).

Do you microchip your cats in the US? It’s been introduced to law here in the UK recently. When we had cats, we had them fitted when they came to us as a matter of course, along with the jabs, etc.

Yus, but - at least in the city / county where I reside - it's not mandatory as far as I'm aware. The last three love bugs I've had were / are microchipped via the local, county-run-and-funded shelter.

Nice B-body Monaco Pursuits ! @Terry Jessee , do you still have the one from 40 years ago ; the one on the cover of an issue of SAE ?
Where did you get the rims/hubcaps for that '78 Squarebody ?

The advertised Ford color for these wheels is argent. Unfortunately, I do not have any argent paints or anything that comes close to the right look, so I had to experiment a bit.
Argent is silver , just in another language (haha). Think of its element assignment Ag ; "argenté" in French, for an instance.

Great work and mods on this bad boy ! Reminds me of the 1994 F-150 CUSTOM that I drove ages ago ; it was my work truck. So easy to keep its interior clean : vinyl bench seat, rubber flooring (grey and black respectively) .
Had the 300 six / AOD combo ; dual tanks, A/C , AM/FM radio , and power steering. And that is all.Only thing that bothered me about it (and not exclusive to my sample) ? Replacing the " [BLAH-BLAH-BLAH] " headlamp bulbs ! Every 3-5 months like clockwork ! And, yes, I drove with the lights on regardless of weather.
Keep up the great work ! Make me want to get one of those (excellent) AMT '150s , and follow your work insofar as "de-XLT-ing" it.

You also need the base dash for a 72 Demon as it doesn't have the rally dash. 71 was the last year. I am waiting for him to do another batch also and I have a 72 Duster that is a tad rough in the wings to use as a donor interior. One other thing the wheels are not correct for a 72 the centers are different. The new Demon kit wheels are so nice I think I would overlook that !
Same with the 1971 Sizzler , which has the standard instruments (e.g., same as the Duster non-340).
Oddly, the Tuff-Grip tiller was standard with the Sizzler , irrespective of power steering - something exclusive to that appearance package.
1972 was the "acorn" centre caps, yus. IIRC, the MPC 1972 annuals - at least the 1972 Duster kit - still had the 1970-1971 centre caps ; this was corrected for the 1973 models (easily found in the reissued 1975-1976 Dart Sport kits).
The finest aspect of the resin grilles for the 1971 is the separate parking lamps - something which was overlooked in the new-tooling '71 Demon 340. That, and the grille is moulded-open, too.

I managed to grab two of the 72'Demon grilles before he sold out again,i read that the 72'demon has a different interior,so it will take some work to have a correct 72.
Exactly. The MPC 1972 Duster annual has the correct upholstery pattern (for the bucket seat option). I messaged the seller/creator of the grilles and enquired about him doing a 3D print of the correct '72 interior (in addition to a 1973-1974 Dart grille and tail lamp panel).

Not seeing any Demon grilles, John. Must be sold out.
Yus , I believe they sold out rather quickly. The 1971 grilles sold out, then were available again a day or two later, after I'd purchased the 1972 grilles.
Check back daily, is the only advice I can offer.

I recently purchased two-each of the resin 3D-printed 1971 & 1972 Demon grilles from eBay via a seller whose user name is brah 61 ,and am awaiting their arrival.
Apparently, this seller (creator as well ?) has other items available (1988-1997 GMC / Chevy pickup grilles, and later D/W Series updates), and has a 100% positive feedback.
The 1971 grille looks like a nice upgrade over the MPC kit grille, insofar as its separate parking lamps/ turn signals ; but it's that 1972 grille which really got my attention ! Not only is the grille and (separate) parking lamps included, but also includes the 1972 & later "universal" side markers !

This is Fia and she's a character. She's three years old and a grey tabby with some orange patches mixed in and if there's a crime in the house she's a likely suspect. We live across the street from a Veterinary office and early one morning I heard a pitiful meow coming and followed it. A tiny kitten was hiding inside a rolled up water hose next to their building. I figured she must have gotten loose from inside so I put her over their fence but she climbed back over and clung to my leg as I was walking away. The next morning they said she wasn't theirs so Fia became ours. She was skittish and a little chompy at first but now she climbs up on me to demand attention.
My word, she is a beauty ! I like the bell on her collar - like the Maneki Neko .
Thank you for rescuing her and for providing her a loving home .

I'm currently testing out some other long forgotten tooling.
I can't help but wonder if the MPC Econoline kits - 1/25th and 1/20th scale - are in the inventory. Personally, I'd like to see the 1/20 scale E-150 get the stock parts again ; the 1/25th could be run "as-is" I'm sure... hasn't been available since 1981.

I'd like to see a 225 and a 273, with either the 904 or 3-speed manual as options.

I wonder why the kit's festooned with a catalytic converter ???? No such an animal until the 1975 model year...

F.E. (and M-E-L for this matter) is a completely different engine family vs. the '385 Series' (429/460 ; 370 truck engine) .
Headers - exhaust manifolds, etc. - won't interchange between the two .I haven't checked to see if one of the resin casters (3-D offerings, etc.) offers headers for the 385 .
