  1. Hi everyone Well I am not sure of this but you might want to check out this line of paint.

I got mine from here http://www.kustomrid...ncentrates.html

You may or may not know of them - I did a test on chrome paint last year and I tested Spaz Stix Chrome, alclad II, eastwoods liquid chrome, and Mirra Chrome and a few others. with my air brush.

There Mirra Chrome paint was the best I have ever seen this is the company http://www.alsacorp....ate=kustomrides

I will be trying there base system and clear soon.

They even have it in a rattle can,

Oh i now use the eastwood Chrome paint it cost less and get more for your money - for big events or customer builds I will go with the Killer Chrome!

  2. What an outstanding build!!! Great job and one has just got to love the tube chassis your making.

Takes me back to when I was young ~ my old man made slot car chassis But this thing is over the Top!

Well that comment was posted after see the first page or so. I did not see the other 16 pages!

So after reading all of this and looking at all the detail. I have never seen such a build to this level of detail.

Your work is just mind blowing!

I Bow before your greatness oh great and mighty one.

  3. Not much resin (there are some rough older Jaymar fiberglass Holden bodies) but you can get decals from Patto's Place. You may be best off to pick up some of the vac-form slot car bodies or find things that are "close" and start scratchbuilding. It's a big hole in the race car kit market. I think lots of people around the globe would be interested if someone did a kit...

Thanks for the insite Mark I guess I will start working on them and see if we can't close that gap.

  4. I have spent a lot of time going over the web looking for a 1985 - 92 Z28 or IROC 1/25 Scale Camaro. A SCCA Camaro is what I need, is there anyone that makes a resin body of this of car or any 85 to 92 would help.

This would help complete my SCCA Trans Am builds, I have all the Mustangs and Camaros that Revell came out with, I have even made my own 1992 Tommy and Bobby Archers

    Dodge Daytona Trans Am cars.

That I will need decals made for.

    Thanks

    Marty

  5. This is directed to Dave Zinn, I have no idea what history you have with Reliable Resin , and I really don't care

It appears to me that you have some kind of Axe to Grind , and I for one am tired of reading your rants

Looks like others are getting tired of it as well

    Quote Dave Zinn

"i said it before and i'll say it again, time and time again the complaints over and over are ALWAYS about Reliable resin. hate me for speaking my mind all you want but there is no denying the fact that this happens over and over again RELIABLY! almost like clockwork how reliably a complaint will pop up on the forums over and over regarding this ONE resin caster "

Looks like to me Dave , that your the one that's always starting the problems, the thread ( now locked ) in reference to the Cuda / Challenger conversion pkg ( which is one of the items I ordered with Reliable Resin ) It's a shame that there's bad apples hack in & hijack threads , that ruin it for all us

I'm new to the hobby , after being out of it for years. I found this message broad & the RESIN category thought " what a great place to find what I'm looking for "with out spending an arm & leg on original kits or spending hours fabrication to make what I want

When Reliable Resin posted the upcoming release of exactly what I wanted to build ( 71 Cuda / Challenger )

I was curious , as to what else they & other resin casters offered. In the past few months I've probably spend $400 w/ many resin companies, happy with most of what I ordered , there is one resin company that I ordered from , that I'm very disappointed with what I received

( it was not the Reliable Resins order )

I'm not the type of person to vent my feelings about what I received from this "other" resin caster & will not be ordering from them ever again

The order that I placed "Reliable Resins", I received an email stating it's in process & will be shipped with the next month . None of the other resin caster companies sent me an email or communicated w/ me at all , my impression of Reliable Resin, so far is that is company conducts themselves in a professional manner.
