  1. If anyone out there knows where I can get a 1/24 scale 3406 or big cummins so I can ditch this detroit that came in the kit I would love to get one for this truck. the oilpan on the detroit is hitting the front axle and wont sit down in the frame at all. Any suggestions?
  2. sorry Eric, I was looking at the wrong list( I'm building a 1/25 RG pete at the same time). I will be using the RF2 fenders on this one, probably send you an order tomorrow. Thanks for making your products, they are super nice and super easy to use
  3. sweet trucks! are those P&P's resin conversions?
  4. Here's my latest project. started with a Italeri 378, added a P&P hood and sleeper top, stretched the frame 3 1/2inches, lowered the suspension 3/16", lowered the cab, hood, and sleeper 1/8", installed full deck, recessed the hub centers on the rear wheels 1/8". Going to order some P&P RF4 fenders for the rear, texas front bumper, and some bullet headlights this week. Planning to paint the frame and body Sub-lime green.
  5. thanks for all the help everyone. I finally got it going my way now. I'll post some pictures of the build soon
  6. Okay that makes sense. How much do I need to lower the cab? I already took about 1/8 inch out of the front cab mounts and probably 1/16 out of the rear mount to make the cab sit level on the frame. I also added 3 1/2 inches to the lenght of the frame under the cab and moved the mounts to make up for the 1/4 inch of hood and a little extra for looks. Thanks, that picture does help alot to explain how its supposed to look. Do the hinges go to the bottom or back of the grill?thanks for the help
  7. Eric that sounds awesome. Thanks alot for the fast responce
  8. I'm building my first tricked out 379 pete using the 378 Italeri kit and lots of P&P resin parts(amazing parts for sure). the problem I'm running into is getting the hood hinges to work with the resin hood. I cut the kit hinges according to the instructions but they came up way too short to be glued to the grill like it says. Now I'm second guessing myself. Anyone have any advice or pictures of what its supposed to look like? This is my biggest hang up right now and I dont want to ruin anything.
