  1. This is the C1 Models recent release following on from the MGB GT resin conversion. The Sebring MGC.

I chose to build RMO 699F `Romeo' but decals and optional parts are included for Both works cars in a variety of races.

My model is not entirely accurate as RMO had a forward hinging bonnet, this meant the grille badge had to be removed due to it fouling. I left it in place as it would be difficult to remove being PE. I really wanted to build the Paddy Hopkirk car.

  2. I love your coupe, just gorgeous. I also had a need for those long headlamp bodies so used the bodies from the Gunze AH Sprite to make resin copies.

Anyway, a really well thought out project, executed brilliantly. I see you changed out the awful kit tyres, would you mind sharing the source of those please.

  3. Very nice build as usual Mr Lin. I shall go and watch your video on YT, they are very enjoyable and informative.

I have adopted your method of replicating door locks with metal rivets already, they do look neat.

  4. Glad this one got bumped up. I am back on here after 11 years out, I would probably have missed it otherwise.

Lovely roadster, everything works so well together. I wish Revell would do parts pack engines and put this flathead in one, lovely looking engine.

Great build Steve, I have this conversion kit to do.

Thanks Dave, hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Two tips to pass on, take some time working out the ride height, it really needs lowering and the rear track narrowing slightly. Also, cut inside the line on the window templates, they will fit perfect first time if you do this 👍

  6. Yes, probably best going direct to Chris at C1. I believe he is closed for Christmas now as he's very busy getting the latest kit out, a Sebring version of the MGB GT!

Here are a couple more pics of the Frontline Developments car for you.
