  1. The artwork looks a lot like the artwork I used to see in Dungeons & Dragons.
  2. So I managed to get some work done on the Sioux in the last few days between work & the rain. The cockpit is just about done: And here's a shot of the WIP instrument panel. Does anyone know what that ring is supposed to be? Is it a gun sight? And an overall WIP shot. The engine & cockpit are not permanently mounted yet. They're just "posed" for the photo. More to come! Soon, I hope.
  3. Thanks for all of the ideas, guys. I appreciate it. And, yes, I am missing the CP100 sirens for the roof. Not exactly sure how I'm going to make those either. I have a 1/32 Revell Mack CF600. Maybe there is something in there I can use.
  4. Thanks for the input, guys. Maybe they're attached to the left side of the car to make it look "balanced"?
  5. I want to add curb feelers to my 1949 Mercury Club Coupe similar to this: But I'm not exactly sure how to go about it. I'm guessing that actual curb feelers are between 10" & 12" long. It looks like they just clamp to the frame. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the curb feelers for Sheriff? Got to keep the white walls clean, ya know.
  6. Nicely done. I like your loading dock photo booth, too.
  7. Awesome job, Brian. Very well done. Quite a unique build.
  8. Interesting. Get rid of some of those out of scale, toy looking parts & you might have a decent starting point for a Western Star model.
  9. Great job on Engine 51. They make a great pair. Wipers? Who needs wipers in Los Angeles?
  10. What would be really nice is if someone (Model Car Garage, maybe?) would offer a P/E set for the American-LaFrance logos for the 900 & 1000 series cabs. This would be useful on all of the AMT American-LaFrance kits.
  11. Nice looking K100. Well done. The standard wheelbase on the K100 Aerodyne was 180", while the Papa truck's is 226". That being said, Kenworth would make trucks with whatever wheelbase the customer wanted.
  12. The defiantly are not ABS modules as the AMT Fruehauf flatbed trailer is 1970s vintage. They are air relay valves.
  13. About rare as hen's teeth! I've heard that the Bighorns were more popular in Canada than the US. Don't know if that's true, but that's what I've heard. Wonder if the Big Al powered Bighorn was a Canadian or US truck.
  14. This might help: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northrop_X-4_Bantam
  15. Nicely done. When did the USAF change the designation from P80 to F80?
  16. Interesting project. Definitely a daycab. While we're on the subject, since I have no talent for scratchbuilding (I can barely get the kits together, some times), has anyone ever cast the Big Al?
  17. Thanks. Just finishing up the cockpit, so I should have some more photos soon.
  18. What did you use for your photo base? It's looks really nice.
  19. I'm pretty sure the AMT KW W925 kits always came with the Cummins NTC350.
