Simple....some people will pay more $$$ than others...others will not....Me will Not I like the displays...they represent the models well The ad seems straight foward... My pet peeve on e-bay is when they say the kit "LOOKS COMPLETE"....Ha... how can one tell if a kit is complete by just looking at it.....i assume it is a way to protect the sell....And so they say....:I Told You Sooooooo... Correct...? Ford took over Jaguar....however they still rolled of the assembly line of Jaguar...difference..yes indeed... Ford Motor Company...is a Good Product....and it is well known that Jaguar has had issues.. with Quality & Control....however once the issues are corrected has per written by Jaguar....the Cars are bullet proof....AJ6 Motors are some of the best...the trans are still built and being used in todays cars..mostly the Audi's As a owner of previous Jags...i can tell you from experience that most problems are electrical....and most problems are just a simple connection. sad indeed now that Jaguar is owned and operated by Tata Motors of india....would i buy a New Jag today...No....Aston Martin comes to mind...then again the history of the Aston...well Todays Jaguars come to mind.. Since i am a little confused and that you seem yo poo po Ford...and Jaguar....Just thought i would give you a little friendly up-date.. Sure a Ford....you can take the weekends off and not do repairs....has with a Jag...well that is the fun of owning a one....Sure you will have to mortgage you home for the cost of repairs on a Jaguar....so i advise people if you have no DIY experience..stay away...and buy a Compact....But if truly want something Sleek and Sexy and cannot afford a Ferrari....Buy a Jag.... Thank-You for the information on this Kit...and the Wonderful build you have done on this Ferrari....Building Kits of the ferrari is my favorite to build...for most of my kits are of the Ferrari... Sure after reading about the Revell Kit...you shared with us.....i will just have to add this to my collection.. I am now and have been building the Fujimi "Enthusiast Model" Ferrari 246 GT...although a finicky kit....lots of Good Detail... Well thanks again....."Happy Holidays" Cheers Don.... aka XJ6

Hey Nice Jag.....I have always been fond of the S-Type Jag...they have the appearance of the MK ll Saloon... And Don't mind our friends up above... making fun of Jags.....They just wished they owned one....they probably drive something from Detroit. I Proudly own "88 XJ40....and after 25yrs...the car is much better condition then my '03 Altima...but then again i only drive my Jag on nice Sunny Days

What i have is a SANKYO - MABUCHI "Classic Car Series" No.1 1/24 Autentic Scale (Motorized Kit) Subject is a 1937 CORD Model 812 "Sportman's Convertible Coupe" *** Great Subject *** I Got this as a Gift X-Change....I never heard of a Sankyo Model Kit....So i searched this site...only 1 posting on such....Google the Sankyo Model Kit....no info there.....and good ole E-Bay..show 2 such Sankyo Kits....one for $185.00 and the other such as this is for $252.00...well given E-Bay and the way items are priced (at times) i wonder if this kit really is.....well Rare...one of those hard to find and what have-ya... Any-way can anybody give me any information on this Wonderful kit i got as a gift.. The kit is has been opened.....all the parts are Sealed.....has the Little Motor .. What caught my attention...is that the Box Art...with all the Japanese lettering.....and Yet in the bottom right corner shows the USA - American Flag Cool.. I know Post a Pic.....Well at my age...and computers....well to make a long story short i can never figure it out here on this Model Car Forum...But will Some Day..
