Great resto project! I've had a 1:1 '64 Sprint for most of the last 30 years. Here's one that I had in the mid '80s:
This one sold five years ago and went to Australia:

You might say I like these, even more than Foxes.

It was an '82 GMC K-2500 3/4 ton 4x4, with eight lug wheels. The Bronco wheels are about right, but five lug. You would have to convert them to eight lug.

Hobby shops were closing regularly 25 years ago. To thrive, they have to offer what online providers can't supply, like R/C racing, seminars, plane specialists, etc. Those that do usually do well.

My mother used to have three pounds of cr*p on her key chain. In the early '80s, it damaged the ignition switch on her '79 LTD, and the car would die while driving. The dealer replaced three ignition modules until they figured it out, and put a new lock on the column. After that, she separated the car keys on their own chain and never had another problem.

So much cool stuff there. I voted on several cars and trucks, but realistically not much chance that any of my choices will be cut in steel any time soon.

The '57 Ford bumpers were for restored promo models, so I left the seams on for originality. But I did remove the seams on all of the kit parts, taking them to 1000 grit with a polishing kit.
The two racks were about $59 with return shipping included. You should be able to fit the Chevy chrome on one rack.

I imagine it would, it's pretty wide. You would have to convert to dually and either an extended cab or lengthen the frame to use the 4dr cab.

Edit - Probably won't have to extend the frame, as it looks like the Meng kit has an 8 foot bed.
I've had Bob re-chrome parts for me for 20 years now, and his service is still the best and fun to use. A friend gave me three '57 Ford promos to restore for him, and I decided to get the chrome replated for best effect. I included my own parts for projects both immediate and well into the future so I could fill both 6"x 8" racks that I made back in the day. They have been chromed at least 12 times each. Bob's service is unique because you can make custom parts, strip and mount parts yourself for the best price, or have him do all the work on individual parts for more money. Lots of choices.
