  1. As impossible as it is to pick one "best" Beatles song, I think this one is my favorite. Written by John, with some great lead guitar by George, and of course the terrific vocal harmonies of John, Paul, and George that they were so good at... from the Revolver album...
  2. There is no right or wrong way to listen to the Beatles. They are the best ever, no matter what order you listen to the albums. My personal pick for best Beatles album would be Revolver or Rubber Soul. But there is no such thing as a bad Beatles album. Note: The British and American releases of a given album were sometimes very different, with different songs included or left out depending on which version of the record you had. This was especially true early in their careers, and it can get really confusing. This article explains things pretty well... http://ultimateclassicrock.com/beatles-us-uk-album-guide/
  3. Beautiful model, and a really nice way to remember your friend.
  4. Very nice.
  5. Not where I live...
  6. At least they fixed it without putting you through a month's worth of hassles and red tape.
  7. Henry... was it you who posted the topic? I tried doing a search but couldn't find it.
  8. Of course, if you're a guy the worst part of using nail polish to paint models is buying the stuff.
  9. What brand of gee-tar is it? Can't tell from just seeing a part of the neck...
  10. You recognize the tune... so are you saying you watch snooty PBS shows?
  11. I just played it. Worked fine.
  12. Here's the story on this thing. It sold on ebay in 2011 for $5,199... http://www.corvetteblogger.com/2011/09/15/corvettes-on-ebay-1977-rat-rod-custom-corvette-pickup/
  13. Not many at all??? I counted 11! That's almost one every month! I think you did a lot in 2015. And all are really nice.
  14. No real secret... I guess I'm just a pretty fast worker.
  15. I agree with Clay... that thing has John Teresi written all over it!
  16. Don't even get me started on the mirrors!
  17. Pretty cool... but on that car all the underhood area (firewall, inner fenders) would have been painted body color.
  18. Nice model. Brings back memories... I had one, five speed, Garnet Red upper and silver lower body with the side skirts. Great car, crazy fast for a four. Great fun until the turbo burned out (which happened way too soon, IMO). Turbo technology back then wasn't anywhere near what it is today... but it was fine while it lasted!
  19. That woman playing guitar in the first video I posted is Susan Cowsill, with two of her brothers, part of the original Cowsills band (that video is from this year, 2015). Here she is doing the same song back in 1967 with her brothers (and mom) when it first came out... she's the adorable little girl with the tambourine. Wow, where does the time go?
  20. Wow! Fourteen in one year, and all of them real beauties. Man, you sure keep yourself busy!
  21. Yep, those were their biggest three hits. And they also did the opening theme song from the TV show "Love, American Style."
  22. How do you attach steel fenders onto a fiberglass body?
  23. Wow, they like the... ahem.. "layout" over there? You mean they're fan of utter chaos? How can anyone prefer chaos over a layout like this, where you know where to find specific things? I mean, it's like going to the library to find a book on a specific topic, but the books are on the shelves in no particular order whatsoever and completely randomly shelved... and people prefer that?
  24. Those muffler bearings look pretty beat, too, and your Johnson Rod has about had it. Not to mention it's way past time for your glove box alignment...
