Never have seen a Star Wars movie. Absolutely zero interest in sci-fi. Every time I hear "Star Wars" I think of Bill Murray doing his lounge lizard act on SNL. That is "Star Wars" for me...

oh, ok... got it. But to be honest, part of the appeal of American Idol, to me at least, is the interplay between the judges. That's a really entertaining part of the show, especially when Simon was still on it. The three current judges (Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry Connick) all get along too well. No tension, no sniping, no catfights. Oh well... like all TV shows, there is a limited lifespan, and AI will be history after this next season. It'll be interesting to see if The Voice will match AI as far as number of years on the air.

I'd go with John, Paul, George, and Ringo. But if I had to build a Frankenstein's monster of a band, that's a tough call. So many good people to pick from. If we limit ourselves to living people... David Gilmour, Lindsey Buckingham, and Jimmy Page on guitars, Benmont Tench on keyboards, Tim Schmidt on bass, Dave Grohl or Kenny Aronoff on drums, and Robert Plant on vocals. Now that's a band!

Melissa Harris-Perry is hilarious! She is so far off the ranch it's funny to watch her. It's like watching someone doing a stand-up comedy routine except the performer herself doesn't realize that's what she's doing!
