Hey... no hurry! Right, Art?
I bought my HSM kits in one single ebay spree several years ago, but for some reason I keep passing them over when it comes time for my next project. I really ought to try one. It would be a good test of my skills.
Which makes the whole "torn up when it arrives" thing even more weird. I mean, the magazines that are delivered to your LHS also went through the same process as the ones that individual subscribers' magazines go through... right?
In that ballpark. Hard to tell exactly until I build it. The kit is 1/16 scale, so it's pretty big. And incredibly complex and detailed... just the way I like my kits.
Hey, if you want to sue for "mental anguish" or "emotional distress" or something, I will gladly represent you for half of the settlement.
Call me... I work at the law firm of Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe.. 555-LAW-SCAM...
I just got the Bandai issue of the 1/16 scale 1919 Garrett steam tractor kit. Problem is, the instructions are completely in Japanese, including color callouts. I know this kit has been released under various brands over the years. Were there ever any English instructions included? Anyone by any chance have English instructions for this kit?
I guess you were reading words that I didn't write. I didn't question your intelligence. I asked if you realize what a bagging machine costs. I'm sure any publisher that bags their magazine passes that cost on to the subscriber. Maybe the MCM publisher doesn't want to do that.
One of the three lead singers (and a founding member) of Three Dog Night passed away "unexpectedly" yesterday at 74.
Well, yeah, dead at 74 seems a little unexpected, especially if he had no known physical problems. Oh well... such is life...
Yeah, I know that stuff. I figured you used either that or Elmer's.
Thanks, John... just wanted everyone else who might be wondering to know "how it's done"...
In fact, this is so amazing that when I saw it, I asked Dann if I could do a feature of this model in the magazine... and he said yes. So be prepared to go on a little "magical mystery tour" of this model's graphics in an upcoming issue and get to check out all of those cool details up close.
