  1. Great looking Fat Fender Ford. Like the nosed and decked treatment and the 289 would have made this a good performing car as well. Your model's trim is all cleanly done and the wheels look good.
  2. Just a thought on the wheels. You mentioned that you preferred the kits tires. Would the wheel backs from the kit fit inside the chrome wheels? My thought is that the back edge of the chrome wheels could be sawed off and the kits inner wheel could be used on the back side. This should make the mounting on the axels easer as well as mounting the kits tires. The other part would be the offset of the wheel should keep your tire inside the wheel wells and prevent any tire/body rubbing.
  3. Beautiful looking finishes and cleanly detailed sand rail.
  4. Great looking paint and like the service truck theme. Lots of options for the bed on this. The exhaust stacks are a nice option and remember when they were sort of a standard thing when you were fixing up a pickup.
  5. Your efforts were well worth it. This color always looked good on this body style anyway, and with the polished finish it really shines.
  6. Great OEM look. Great color and finish and the interior looks real nice. These were nice looking Ford products at the time.
  7. Beautiful looking paint work and color. Like the chrome trim and the rear deck area.
  8. Very realistic looking painting details on the engine and interior.
  9. For the wheels, can you drill the wheel backs mounting hole larger to fit the kits axles or are the wheel backs mountings to long? I also had a '66 Impala SS with the 396 and 4-speed. Always liked the lines of this and the '65 as well.
  10. Great looking paint work. I like the way you did the hood and the upper grill surround. What are you thinking for the grill itself?
  11. Great stans and I like the weathered paint finish. Lot of attention to the smallest details on this build.
  12. Very creative body work and the paint work looks great. Nice interior modifications.
  13. Lot of great attention to detailing using paint.
  14. Like the way you finished the body and paint. Remember more than a few cars that this was considered finished. Nice detail adding all of the correct holes in the body for the chrome trim.
  15. Great looking paint finish and color. Clean looking body trim.
  16. Great looking Mustang. Like the wheel and tire upgrade.
  17. Beautiful looking paint finish. The two-tone paint looks great. Cleanly detailed interior and chrome trim.
  18. Great looking base model 150. Like the standard 6 cylinder and the subdued two-tone paint looks the part.
  19. There has been some discussion on the Forum about the Tamiya X-20A Thinner, so when I was at my regular hobby shop, I talked to one of the people there about it. Seems the A suffix means it is meant for Acrylic paints. The Tamiya X-20 is a Lacquer type thinner that can be used virtually across the board on any paint. I'll be using the rest of my X-20a thinner to clean my paint brushes only from now on.
  20. I have been the designated Dish Person forever. My wife doesn't know how to stack the dishes in the dish washer properly. Ya. I'm one of those types that likes things stacked so that the get cleaned, no spoons stacked on top of each other in the cutlery part and glasses properly secured so they don't fall over, and plates stacked so they don't bang against each other when you run the dish washer.
  21. Sorry if my information lead you astray. I have the Tamiya X-20A Thinner and is all I have used. Relooking at the Panel Line bottle I was able to read the label, under a very high powered lense, that Tamiya recommends their X-20, no suffix, for any clean up. The X20A Thinner lists N-Propanol and Butyl Alcohol as ingredients. Another Tamiya product to consider, and what I have used in the past, is their X-19 Smoke. They offer a spray can, but I use the small brush paint type bottle. This is somewhat thinner and works well for trim and chrome grills and is less expensive.
  22. But do you still have to do the dishes? I also enjoy a nice thick BBQ Steak, but I still have to do the dishes.
  23. Remember a comedy movie based on the title Whisky Tango Foxtrot.
  24. Beautiful looking color and paint finish. Like the interior detailing and the engine.
