  1. Nice looking color and paint. The interior is very realistic looking, especially the seat pattern. What did you use to represent the fabric seat insert?
  2. Great attention to chassis details.

    '34 ford tudor

Great looking build. Like the stock look.
  4. Beautiful looking paint and interior. I like your idea for the lower body trim. I also saw that program and enjoy the way they build the real thing.
  5. Great looking Pro Street build. The colors look good together and the color break line is nice and smooth.
  6. Great looking old Brass Era cars.
  7. Great looking paint work and body trim. The roof height on Ambulance's varied from one manufacturer to another so much, who's to say what is correct and what isn't.
  8. Beautiful looking paint and trim. Like the realistic engine details.
  9. Be sure and post your build. I'm a previous owner of a '66 Impala SS and would enjoy seeing your build and originally wanted that color on mine.
  10. The paint on your model at this point looks good enough that you might consider just leaving it alone. Maybe spray some spruce or any other model parts and paint them with the paint you used. Allow the paint to dry well and then polish those as you feel may be needed. That way if for some reason the polishing doesn't work out you haven't jacked up the finish on the build. Like the engine detailing.
  11. Great looking paint finish and color.
  12. Lenexa Ks. is a large distribution center for UPS. Why UPS and so many others send a package all over the country before delivering it is one of those mysteries that may never be solved.

    300 X 2

Beautiful looking paint work and clean looking trim. The 300 SL was the poster car in this young man's bedroom.
  14. The paint scheme captures the pre-war look of these cars. Beautiful looking finishes.
  15. Beautiful looking paint work, on both builds.
  16. Great looking color and interior. Nice body trim and engine detailing. Amazing how much different this body looks with little more than a color change from the Striped Tamatoe red.

    1963 Corvette

Beutiful looking Candy Apple Red paint. The stance looks great and works well with the wheels. Don't know what to say about the paint issues you encountered.
  18. This should be fun to watch. Nice thing is that you can check colors and other details with your buddy when needed. You mentioned using XF-57 Buff for the interior. Great color and have used it as well, if you haven't already checked Tamiya offers a XF-55 Deck Tan that is a shade lighter and a XF-78 Wood Deck Tan that is a shade darker. These can be used for slight contrast of color if needed.
  19. Great looking detail pictures. In the under hood shot it looks like the inside side all of the right front tire may have rubbed on some suspension part and worn away some of the sidewall rubber. While not showroom stock, notice how many stock suspension parts remain on this car. The only thing stock today is the profile per the NASCAR templets, and that is often called to question.
  20. Hope someone has some pictures to share.
  21. Amazing fabrication of the chassis and suspension as well as the interior and body. Perfect looking used and abused paint finish. Like the dirty tires.
  22. Beautiful looking restoration on this kit. Like the colors and the clean body trim. Great detailing on the engine. Your background on the Tarpon is dead on. Would have been a really good-looking seller against the intended market if it had been left on the American body.
  23. Like the oversized rear fenders and the chopped top.
  24. Great looking body and paint work. I remember one of these in the high school student parking lot. He was a hero when it snowed.
