  1. I like looking at trucks like this one and seeing it in a proper setting and time period. This is what brings a question to my mind looking at the photo. What is catching my eye is the color highlights on the body panels of the truck and even a couple of the cars in the background. I don't think colored photographs were all that common at that time. They did exist but not with the quality we are used to seeing today. This leads me to believe that this may be a "colorized" old black and white photo. Should this be the case they did a great job overall, but the tops of the front fenders on the truck almost look like a color shifting paint with red highlights on the driver's side dark colored panels and the two cars parked behind the truck have much the same effect.
  2. Great looking pick up. The shade of green is close to some OEM colors of the day. I'll have to look for that tape the next time I'm in Michael's, it looks real good here.
  3. I agree with everyone else on the weathering, it just looks very real. You can almost smell the dusty interior and the leafs in the floor of the bed are a nice touch.

    MPC 73'DUSTER

    Great looking Duster.
  5. Beautiful looking builds. In addition to the great paint work they are all cleanly detailed and accurately built.
  6. Looks great so far. The doors are something that I have used for an excuse for not building mine.
  7. You're not alone on this subject. If you want a warmed over V-8 with Headers and a set of Flowmasters and the sent of Race Fuel you better hurry because going forward it's going to be "Diehards" and Lithium Ions from here on out.
  8. Beautiful looking build.

    My 2020

I always enjoy how you manage to mix bodies around and make them look like factory. I especially like the '48 Ford pick up and the Edsel's. The '66 Chevelle, is this a resin body or one of your roof conversions ?
  10. I like how this looks like something someone could drive in most any kind of weather save snow.
  11. I like the two tone combination.
  12. I'd say the decals look perfect on this. I'll have to remember that if I ever get to this one again. Nice clean looking build.
  13. Great looking build and I like the exhaust exiting thru the front fenders.

    Builds for 2020

I like the before and after Mustang. Besides the great looking ones I like the natural looks builds that resemble a neglected car as well.

    My 2020

I like the shadow flames on the Mercury and the showroom build of the '50's Chevrolet. The uncommon color combination on the Comet and the Disco Vinyl roof on the Duster.
  16. They all look good. I think I remember following your T-Bird build.
  17. Great looking builds. I like the sorry looking little VW. Good verity of build types.
  18. Great looking builds. I can see why you like the Torino so much.
  19. I have enjoyed watching the great lengths you have gone to with these two builds. Way beyond my patience level. Depending on the background setting it can be hard to tell if they aren't a real car or not.
  20. Looks like you made good use of your time this year. Great variety of build styles and all cleanly built.
  21. All very cleanly built with reat looking paint jobs. I also enjoy seeing models of cars and truck I'm not familiar with.
  22. I like the two T - Buckets and the aggressive look of the 3 Window. The 5 window with the full engine cover is interesting.
  23. The two tone paint treatment looks good and I don't recall ever seeing the way you did the rear using the trunk lid. I like this better since most I have seen have the upper color go all the way to the bottom of the body.
  24. Great job smoothing the bodies around the door openings. I also like the '36 Ford and as mentioned there is issues with the roof. The other area on that one that is a little tricky is the Grill. Getting the two piece Hood and the Fenders to all come together can be a challenge. The Blown Hemi Engine in the '32 Five Window has the duel Carburetors but they look like two small two barrels. Usually they would have a little more Carburetion than that. I like how you're cleaning up the Frame rails.
  25. I'll be looking forward to seeing what all you do with this build.
