  1. It should work just fine . You should know that white decal paper is not completely opaque and the paint color underneath shows thru to some extent . . . light colored paint is good , dark is bad (there are ways to combat this) . The same thing goes for printer ink , it's not opaque either . If you have a black or colored background printed on the decal , go around the edges with a marker after you cut out the decal . No more white edges !
  2. Looks great so far Mark , I like your attention to the small details ! I built one a few years ago and plan on doing another one with a little more detail one of these days . Here's a size comparison . The 1/4 scale Hemi next to a 1/25 57 Chrysler wagon and next to a 1/18 scale Hemi . It's a MONSTER !
  3. Definitely worth the frayed nerves and the extra effort , beautifully done !
  4. My ride home from the hospital was in this '49 Plymouth convertible , that's my Dad in his pride and joy ! The first car I really remember is this '57 Plymouth Suburban , I'm on the left .
  5. I've got the Micromark set and except for the 60 tooth blade they are all way too coarse plastic , they also are .030" thick which is more than what the old Dremel saw blades were so I rarely use even the 60 tooth blade . I purchased some of the Gyrostools and the Ultra fine is .005"thk x 120 teeth . But the Fine tooth blade works the best , .015"thk x 80 teeth . To be honest , unless you need a precise cut the Dremel cut-off wheels work better .
  6. I had planned on adding decals for the lights and grille along with a fancy paint job but ran out of ambition , so I painted it all white to represent a plain fiberglass body . . . sort of a low budget team .

Beautifully done ! Great detailing and overall it looks perfect !
  15. Something a bit different this time . It's a Deal's Wheels Super Spurt with engine , wheels , and tires from a diecast . I added front and rear spoilers , and windows installed with tiny rivets . It's Painted Tamiya Pure White and I made my own decals . I hope you like it ! This is the original box art . I actually started with an incomplete reboxed Funster .
