  12. That Stingray top looks great , good work Ray ! And I don't have any problem with Chevy parts going on a Cobra , we built a few with 502 Chevys in them and most people loved them .

  16. "We need a '60 El Camino " Don't hold your breath .
  17. I double checked and the wheels did come from a TD paddy Wagon kit . The newer ones are gold but the chrome ones can still be found .
  18. Thanks for the comments everyone ! I originally built this back around 1970 and I'm not positive but I think the wheels are from the Tom Daniel Paddy Wagon .They look much better after being sprayed with some Alcad Chrome !
  19. That's really cool , very nicely done Tye !
  20. I had planned for this to be a complete restoration but after finding lots of missing parts and lacking the motivation to do the job I decided it would be an experiment in $0 cost model building . No aftermarket bits and pieces , no detailing goodies , even the paint was leftover and sitting on my shelf . The only extra work I did was to remove the hardtop and use an "up top" from a Monogram '59 Impala . It's not a "Top Shelf" but it looks good in my cabinet ! Here's how it looked after being boxed up for 45 years !
  21. Very very nicely done ! It looks exactly the way I remember my neighbors new Camaro back in '67 !
  22. Really nice update of a classic Monogram kit , the paint and the wheels and tires are perfect for it ! And you're right , those simple kits can be lots of fun !
  23. Absolutely gorgeous ! Nicest '61 I've seen and you're right about the wheels , they really are the finishing touch !
