  1. First thing I noticed after admiring the overall look , but I've owned a couple of the real things so it was pretty obvious to me . Actually I think it looks fine with the rails painted instead of foiled .
  2. Don't know how I missed this one , beautiful work James ! Definitely the nicest custom I've seen . Your paint and BMF look flawless . . . just curious why you didn't foil the bed rails ?
  3. Very very nice , a great job recreating Mundy's Hudson !
  4. Copy and pasting the IMG code works but the "Insert Other Media" still just spins . It was working when the site first changed and then Gregg switched to another format and everything quit working . It doesn't really matter as long as there's at least one way to post photos , right ?
  5. I copied the img code from Photobucket and then right click & paste . Works fine . Now I'll try Fotki . . . http://media.fotki.com/1_p,rrtbrwdbkwsssdtxsqgkkbwbdbgqs,vi/wfbgbbwwqxsdffkfskqxrbgdsrqqf/0/3660730/13751721/24-vi.jpg Yep , the only way it will work is to copy and paste the image . But Photobucket definitely is working for me !
  6. Now I understand the "urban camo" paint scheme , but I was a bit dazed when I first saw it . Very well done Pat , and I think different is good ! We don't want to get bored do we ?
  7. Beautiful Chevelle , the black on red is the perfect color combination ! And I like your solution to those awful taillights , the decals look great . . . all of your decals look great !
  8. Great reference pics , thanks Greg !
  9. I think everything looks and works great ! Nice work Gregg , Mahalo .
  10. Wow , that's really cool to see the original models together again ! I remember the contest well and drooled over all of the winning models . I don't think I've seen the original Dodge Fever since then ! Thanks Tim for the trip down memory lane .
  11. I got used to the new layout pretty quickly and I like it ! I'm running Windows 8.1 and it works great with IE 11 , Chrome , and Firefox . Nice work !
  12. Glad that you're okay and hopefully didn't have a lot of damage . A very good friend of mine lives in Quincy and emailed me some photos of the aftermath and it looked pretty bad . He's okay too and only had some trees down . Hang in there and stay safe . BOB .
  13. I'm not here much anymore so I can live with it . At least I can still post a photo !
  14. Is it really shaped like that , or is it designed to be able to "stretch" around curves and maintain it's shape ?
  15. Nicely done !
  16. That turned out great Ray , all black is one of my favorite colors on a Cobra ! The wheels and the black pipes are perfect !
  17. That's pretty cool Ray ! I have a few from back then and they all have big tires sticking waaay out !
  18. Very cool idea , and it looks great !
  19. Neat little car , very nicely done !
  20. Great kit bashing Pat ! It looks great !
  21. Oh man , that's about the best I can remember ever seeing . . . period . A really , really beautiful model !
  22. Thanks Gordon ! The rectangular strip measures .156 x .100 and the round tubing is .100 diameter .
  23. Thank you very much Bob ! I'm not much of a 1/4 mile guy so it may not be technically correct when it's finished but I always loved the look of Mr. Unswitchable ever since I saw it in person . It was '67 (I was 12) and it was on a trailer at the motel we were staying at in So. Cal . ! If you check the Speed City site he's doing a kit with the body , frame , and misc. parts . It's the short wheelbase car and it looks really nice !
  24. Thanks Brett ! Actually Scott at Speed City has finished the master and last I heard it's in the mold making stage .
