  1. It's just the angle of the photo , it's not looking straight down on the parts . They're both the same length .
  2. Beautiful work Jeff , definitely the nicest I've ever seen !

Now that's a beautiful Olds , great job Jim !
  4. Love the modifications to the Super Bee , it looks awesome ! I remember when Jim Keeler's Dodge Fever was on the cover of Car Model , it was the most beautiful model I'd ever seen ! This will be a great tribute to it !
  5. Thanks much Carl and Bill ! Last night I made up some coil-overs for the front suspension . Here's a pic with them in place , I still need to add the lower mounts . I first made these when I built the Roswell Rod last year . They're pretty simple , just a few pieces of tubing glued together , a spring , and a couple of discs to hold everything together . Here's one painted silver and one assembled .
  6. Very nice work ! Restoring old builds is lots of fun but it can be addictive !
  7. Beautiful !
  8. What a difference ! Beautiful restoration .
  9. No stripes , no scoop , no roll bar . . . everybody is going to be surprised how good a Cobra looks like that !
  10. Great looking custom Jim , gotta love those old Fords !
  11. Beautifully done BTD , I have this one saved in my "Ideas" folder ! The perfect color and excellent detailing .
  12. Oh yeah , that's cool ! And it looks even better with the decals on it , nice work .
  13. Really nice looking Mustang , the white with a blue interior is sharp ! As are the wheels from the Fairlane GT . Even tho' it was slump buster and you didn't want to do a lot of extra work , I think you should've worked on the hood a little .
  14. It's been almost two months and I haven't managed much bench time but I have fabbed most of the front and rear suspension pieces and it's up on all four ! Here's a few of the bare chassis . The front includes the twin I-Beams , spindles , tie rod , and trailing arms . I still need to make the coil-overs . The rear uses the upper arm and axle housing from the AMT '58 Chevy . At this point everything is just pinned together and still needs to be cleaned up a bit before any paint . That's for this installment . Hopefully it won't be another two months before I make any progress ! Thanks for looking !
  15. Great looking T-Bird Jim , that color combination looks great !
  16. Those are pretty neat , I'd love to find a kit in a larger scale !
  17. I receive this yesterday and it's a beauty ! There's a waiting list but Missing link does top notch work and it's worth the wait .
  18. I received my Chevelle yesterday and it was worth waiting for , it's very complete and the quality is excellent ! Kevin received my check on Tuesday and I had the Chevelle in my hands on Friday ! Thank you to everyone at Missing Link !
