  1. Very nicely done , I also like the orange much better than green ! Before I'm finished with a build I take photos of it to see what I missed , then I finish it . . . Digital photos are free !

  11. That is drop dead gorgeous , I can see Gable and Lombard cruising around Hollywood in ! Beautiful job .
  12. It's about ready for paint so I wanted to double check that it all fit together properly . The primer is Duplicolor .

  15. One small update , I used .040" dia . rod and added the bumper bolts to the rear bumper .
  16. All of the diagrams are from the Classic Motorbooks " Photofacts - Chevrolet El Camino 1959 - 1982 " . It's an older book but has some really good info in it .

  20. Thanks Robert ! I've been working on the bumpers . The front was fairly easy , I just added the parking lamps from the Cutlass to the stock car bumper . The rear required a lot more work starting with adding the taillights from a resin '68 Impala bumper , then lots of filling and sanding . Here they are after more sanding and a couple of coats of primer . I still need to add the bumper bolts to the rear .
  21. Thanks Tony ! Thank you Scott ! The blue dots were done with a toothpick and some chrome silver paint , followed by a "dot" of clear blue .
