Thank you Carl ! Spending only an hour here and there makes progress very slow . . . in two weeks I've only managed to finish the engine and transmission ! There's still a few small parts to finish but I'm about ready to get the body ready for paint . Unlike most people , painting the body is always the very last thing I do , but I will fit everything together one more time to make sure there are no surprises after paint !

When I saw the title of your thread I wasn't sure what to expect , but the Corvette body on a Cobra chassis sounds great ! We actually used to build Cobras with Corvette suspensions and 502 Chevy engines !

Thank you everyone for the nice comments , it's always good to see some Deal's Wheels fans ! I tinted the glass with Tamiya Clear Yellow . I was too lazy to get out the airbrush so I just brushed it on , not perfect but it worked ! Thanks John ! The scoop is from a Zinger Semi . I'm still looking for a scoop to use on my next one !

Great looking COPO , the paint and detailing are excellent ! You're right , those tire decals from Fireball Modelworks are a " must have " for newer kits .

This is the recent reissue of the GoMad Nomad . Built basically right out of the box with a couple small changes and additions . Fun kit to build !
