  6. Great looking build ! Nice and clean and beautiful paint !
  7. This past week I fit the interior pieces from the Revell '77 Monte Carlo to my El Camino . The parts themselves aren't very impressive but they're all that I could find that looked right . After trying a couple different windshields I ended up making my own out of some clear sheet from my Vac-U-Form , it's .017" thick and very flexible . The fit is great and there should be no interference problems when it's time for final assembly . Here's the finished interior . The floor will be part of the chassis , and the rest will be installed inside the painted body . I'll make some seat/shoulder belts and some floor mats before it's all finished .
  8. Not really a fan of the movies but it's definitely a cool car . Excellent looking build !
  9. Now that's a great save ! Very nice work .
  10. Thanks Carl ! I've been trying to do brake lines for a long time and see plenty of them that are much better than mine .
  11. Great looking work so far ! That '54 grille does look pretty cool , do you remember where you bought the resin cab ?
  12. Excellent ! I've seen a couple rods with suicide shifters like that . . . very cool !
  13. Great attention to details and the engine is great ! I like the two supports instead of the one big fat one , and the open caps on the exhaust dumps . . . very cool !
  14. Turned out great Ray , and the paint is beautiful ! There are always issues that are unique to resin kits ( like the glass ) , don't let it deter you from buying another . You did a great job !
  15. Very , very nice ! It looks like age and patience has paid off .
  16. I couldn't install the latest version of Flashplayer no matter what I tried , finally I turned off my Pop-Blocker on IE and it installed just fine ! I'm no expert but it worked for me .
  17. Very nice work on and oddball kind of car . . . nothing wrong with being different ! Great job !
  18. It could be the one and only ! Great job Emmanuel !
  19. That silver looks really good , can't wait to see it with stripes !
  20. Thanks Robert ! And when it's finished no one will ever see it .
  21. Thanks Mike ! This is my second build this year ( not counting the Car-Toon Bandit One ) and it's still a long ways from being finished . I might not get three done this year !
  22. Beautiful , beautiful , beautiful !! I love the Watson roadsters . . . great job !
  23. I've always used the glass out of old picture frames . Place the glass on a piece of cardboard and tape it securely all the way around the edges . This gives you a nice surface to cut on without damaging your blade , plus it is perfectly flat ( like a surface plate ) for getting frames and such to sit even . I use 12" x 9" and have three of them on my bench for doing assembly work . And they are easy to clean . . . just scrape off glue and paint with a razor blade !
