  1. Great looking build , I really like the wood ! Excellent photography too !
  2. Thanks Charlie ! I managed to get a couple of hours in last week and I got the trim on the body . This is my first attempt at this kind of stuff and it's not perfect , like the top corners at the A - pillars should be rounded instead of square . I purposely glue the trim on top of primer so I could redo my mistakes , I figured that if it was glued to bare plastic it would be near impossible to remove . And several pieces were redone more than once . . . this IS as hard as I thought it would be ! I'm also working on the rear window panel and the bumpers , but no photos yet . Thanks for stopping by !
  3. Very nice Chuck ! I'm not into off road stuff but your work is excellent !
  4. Looks very nice , and detailing is great ! I like the PE grille and the headlights are straight !
  5. This is a great project Ray , I don't know anything about boats either but would love to build one ! Looking forward to more updates !
  6. That grille looks really nice ! Do you have a photo of the other one ?
  7. Boy you sure dream big ! Nice work an a cool little kit .
  8. Nice work Eric !
  9. Nice work Dale ! Learning and improving your skills is a big part of this hobby . Do a little research on applying BMF and go for it on your next model !
  10. That's very cool Ray ! We had mini bikes as kids but never anything like that , I bet they were a blast !
  11. Looks really good Marshall , I like the engine and extra detailing you've done !
  12. Beautiful convertible Sean , they can be difficult because everything is so visible ! The woodgrain interior and the red accents really make this first class . Great job !
  13. Another great looking '58 ! Nothing wrong with Resale Red , one of my favorite colors ! Are those the kit taillights ? I never noticed they were small before .
  14. That's nice , I really like it ! Your choice of colors and your trim work couldn't be any better . I happen to prefer the old AMT kit over the Revell kit but I've never seen the doors fit as nice as yours . . . very nice work !
  15. Very nice ! I like your choice of colors and the interior detailing is excellent !
  16. I know how you feel Bernard . I'm not sure what the advantages are of IE 11 over 9 and 10 but I had problems with it too . I uninstalled it and my computer automatically was running IE 10 again . . . no more problems ! Oh , and Photobucket wasn't working with IE 11 either !
  17. Things do tend to move mysteriously when doing a build like this , nothing surprises me any more ! It's coming along nicely Dave . I like the way you did the tailgate hinges , and the subtle change to the taillights really works !
  18. Thanks JT ! Owners call them " cars " , legislators call them " trucks " .

That's pretty cool ! I really like those HOK colors . Nice job !
  20. Nice one Jim ! I like that color !
  21. Congrats on the Electra Glide kit , looks like some really nice parts in that one ! I doubt your problem is the plastic or the Purple Power , more than likely it's the type of glue you are using . Liquid cements work when there is a tight fit with no gaps , and they all are designed to work with specific types of plastic . Some work better on styrene than others . And super glue or CA glue really doesn't make a strong joint , in fact it's very brittle and parts can be easily broken apart . It has its uses but not for anything structural like a frame ! If all else fails , use Testor's Model cement in the orange tube !
