  1. Thanks gents !
  2. I think I remember seeing a short how to using BMF to begin with in MCM or Scale Auto mag.
  3. Built pretty much stock with some engine wiring. Hood fits better then the photos would suggest. Kit has some issues. I didn't clean up the body good enough before painting. On to the next one ! Comments welcome positive or negative. Thanks for looking.
  4. Car is done. I will be putting photos in the "Under Glass" section if interested.
  5. Ira, I have no idea how you come up with these wild builds but I'm sure glad you do !
  6. Looks great !
  7. Very nice, love the wheels.
  8. Interesting. I will be following along.
  9. Boy, that has seen better days. I hope you can do something with it and save it. Good luck.
  10. Thanks. That's a good tip. Doubt I'll build another.
  11. I did actually sand them but not enough. I thought I had them gone.... I did not. At least their not on the top !
  12. Nice clean build.
  13. After looking at the photo's I think I could have picked a better color for the body. Not sure the color looks good with the color in the decals. My only defense to that would be that I am partially color blind and some colors do not look the same to me as they do to most people.
  14. Got a little farther down the road on this wip. Simple kit but kind of strange building the "gasser" version. Why ? Well the straight axel has the front of the leaf springs to the front apron and not the chassis. Did not fix as I don't want to spend that kind of time on it and wasn't sure the best way to do that. Secondly, if you use the straight axel you of course don't have to and infact can't use the metal axels. Thats ok but the kit straight axel has very heavy "thick " stubs to mount the wheels. The wheels all are made to use with the metal axel. Not a huge deal as I will just drill out the wheels on my drill press. Just not sure why they would offer parts that won't work together. Anyway, car is painted and cleared, wheels and tires are together, interior is just about done. Engine has been started and I want to wire it but the way the pipes attach to the motor there isn't a lot of room to drill the plug holes. I may skip this. Here is a couple of progress photos.
  15. Never thought I would say this but...... thats a nice Prius.
  16. Very sharp builds .
  17. Wow ! What a great shine. Car will still look killer without the stripes.
  18. Cool cars. (?) The dash looks great !
  19. Well, its already lowered and theres a good start on a chopped top. : )
