Hey Everyone. Apparently I signed up for this forum back in 12 just didn't remember LOL. That is right when I had my son so things have been crazy every since. I modeled alot with my Dad when I was a teenager and life just got busy after that. Well after my son joined the Cub Scouts this year he loved building his Pinewood Derby car so hoping to get him back into modeling with me. I really love Muscle cars and Sports Trucks so tend to gravitate towards those type models. I still have alot of old models as well as finding my old Badger 200 Airbrush that is still in the packing. Hoping to find a good budget compressor for that. Any info on good compressors I am all ears. Anyways Thanks alot and will be looking forward to getting into the forum and learning from you all.

Darren I have had atleast 2 nightmares with this truck in it LOL. Can't wait to see the end product. Keep it coming this truck is insane

I could work on that once I get things going. Right now I am a def a newb as far as model building is concerned. BTW my truck looked almost exactly like your avatar but Black and Red.

Thanks all for the info and help. I was just lookin for a good Shortbed truck so I can drop it a bit and make it a Sport Truck look.

I will look for these. Looks like no matter what I will be doin some fab work since I want that lowered sport truck look.

Does anyone know if there is an 84-87 Chevy or GMC Shortbed PU on the market? I had a 85 Silverado when I was 16 and loved that truck so I wanted to build a Sport Truck version but I can't seem to find one. Thanks for any info

Thanks Don. I checked out the review which was very informative. Now I just need to find me a cheap compressor until I can get much better with my AB. Then I will try to pick up one a much better one.

Are there any decent airbrushes that can be used if you are down on funds? I have a Badger 200 but dont have a compressor so wasnt sure if it was even worth using it.

I am just getting back into modeling after 15 years but I think I am going to try Tamiya's 1st. I know prices will vary some but would like a place that has the largest selection. Thanks for the reply I will give that a shot I forgot about them. Thanks for your info

I have not been able to find a good selection at the 2 or 3 LHS around me here. I was wondering if you guys buy your paints online mostly and the best places to get them online if you did? Once I get the hang of my airbrush or maybe a better airbrush I will be better of but going to use spray cans 1st. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking about finding a Nova to build but after seeing this I think I would be embarrassed to build one. This car is awesome and the more I look at it the better it gets.
