  5. No, after the tape has been removed and the lighter color has cured, apply a coat of clear to hide the line. Once that is cured, tape and mask off accordingly. Paint 2nd color. Once tape has been removed and paint has cured, apply clear and polish to desired result. Individual results may vary.
  6. I use the Tamiya White putty. Way better imo than Testors.
  7. Prime, then paint the lighter color first, otherwise you will have bleed thru by painting the darker color first. If you are not using a body line to separate the color, I like to put a coat of clear over the edge of the lighter color to "hide" the line. Mask accordingly for the 2nd color. Apply clear.

  13. From using products from Scalefinishes for many builds, their paint is pre-thinned and lays down super smooth. With the automotive paint, you may have to add the thinner and hardner to get it spray ready?

  20. The 24" has room to spare. I have room to paint the body, hood, chassis, and other bits and pieces at the same time.
  21. I recently purchased a PACE 24" Mini and have no regrets. The cost was a issue but glad once i started using it. I made my own exhaust with dryer tubing and it is removable when not in use.
