Well done!
I did not know that Siku is for sale in New Zealand.

I`m also working on a 4x2 Transconti, the original model is a Corgi Major-Toys.
An original with an project
The kysor is removed, and the front-axle has been set back a few mm en a new pair of tyres, the cab and chassis are very good models.
Not the spare-tyre, it was original build by Ford
Photo was taken at the former Ford plant in Amsterdam, there was a reunion a couple of years ago.

I think most of these old trucks were used up in this country. Thanks again!
Zwaans used to be the MACK import for Holland, a lot of MACK trucks were sold new, at these days there is a lot of import from the States and some from France and Spain
Interesting. Is that a Mack DM behind the B61? With the length restrictions in Europe, I would have guessed that COEs would be more popular that conventionals.
The blue-white Dm used to als an 4 axle tipper, seen here above, the red DM is now rebuild with an Superliner cab and hood....

In the 70`s a hugh number of Mack F-models were sold, and the road were wide enough, not realy a problem, i do have some more photo`s , if you want to see them.

Hey!!! A 2 Story Falcon!
Ed! Saw one about three weeks ago at the Mall! The carnival was there and they were still using one to haul one of the bigger rides around! red and white ans in perfect shape! Wish I would have had a camera with me at the time!
A local battery builder had 4 or 5 of them in their fleet back in the day! The drivers hated them with a passion! The broke down a lot! So the drivers would have to use one of the old GMC's!
It seems to be a bit of a Ford problem..., the Trancontinentals did also breakdown frequently or the went up in flames......, a driver told me that there was a hugh problem with the electrical system, the Transcon`s used to have 2 sets of wiring, for Europe (right hand drive) and England (left hand drive), and the fusebox was mounted at a place beneath the door, and when it started to rain, it could happen that some water went into the fuse box..

You certainly don't see the Ford Cab over trucks here anymore .
This trucks were never sold in Holland, and don`t think that there are lot of these trucks saved, i found one photo of an restored 4x2 H-series, a red one, it`s a bit hard to get all the details right without some info, but there is no rush, it`s a hobby..
That looks cool,I remember that truck growing up,I like what you have done to it so far....I'm a watchin'!!!
Thank you very much!, my dad used to run Ford trucks, a few Ford D-310 Customcab models, Ford trucks are also very rare in Holland, a few Ford D-series an some Ford cargo`s an a handfull of transconti`s, and that`s all....
