finally finished. If I had to do it over again, I would have taken better care to get the engine to sit correctly in the frame. Installing the exhaust proved to be a nightie. I also managed to break off the tab for the fuel line under the gas tank to the carb so I left that off. I did manage to install (without messing up) the throttle cable that I made from some old phone wire. I'm leaving off the license plate for now as it seems to mess up the flow of the look . I took the velocity stack from 1/25 dual quad setup from an old Challenger T/A chrome tree. And the round gas cap was an air cleaner that I don't remember where from.

Just finished this project that was mothballed since 2008, until about two weeks ago. Revell Rough Rider kit from 1972 with an Imai Wild Chopper girder front end. House of Kolor Kandy Gold over a Duplicolor gold base. Taillight is from a 1/25 Lindberg ‘34 Ford pickup and the headlight is from a 1/25 Revell ‘32 coupe. Very fun, but challenging, build. On to the next… Thanks fer lookin’ In-progress photos here: https://public.fotki.com/fivets/my-model-motorcycles/revell-112-rough-ri/

Most of this winter has been spent re-building this 79 FLH. Fresh engine from top to bottom and my first paint work in 15yr. Took it out for a little hike this evening, I'd say better than new... Maybe I can build some models now, but only on rainy days!
