Howdy all,,this is the Revell muscle series 2n1 kit,,I decided to do the race version. And as always I do a different paint scheme than what is normally pictured on box art. Here I was in a "Shelby" N "Shindona" mood when I built this,,hence the blue w/white stripes,,and the spoiler on trunk,,blacked out rear lens area. Air scoops on sides behind doors. Revell did a great job with the motor choices,,interior and everything else,,, looks good,,but I dont understand the design of the rims with the "ribs" going all around the insides making it near impossible to mount the tires on? Really? I always like the traditional 2 pc rims that can be put together 1/2 at a time as I always paint my rims one way or another on most builds. And after painting these I kept the front rims after dremmeling off "The Ribs" on rims for front,,and changed the back rims to traditional Rally 2 pc rims. Used testors quikdry blue,,hand painted the rest, all in all,,I happy with the kit,,I have yet to build the Hemi Cuda Muscle series kit,,fun kits ,,and they look decent when done. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

My gosh,,Im stuck on these late 60's Ford cars recently,,here I took the AMT Shelby GT500 kit and did a drag version,,additions not included in kit : Headrests,,seatbelts,,rollbar,,drag slicks,, cragar mags,,,opened up rear wheel wells,,drag headers instead of stock exhaust,,lower radiator hose,,decals from leftovers from my stash. Rattle can sprayed W/ Testors Mystic emerald green. Hand painted 2 tone interior w/custom mixed paints. Hand painted window trim{s} w/custom mixed paints. Dremmel cut+ removed engine bay wheel wells. {so drag headers would clear} I did have to dremmel the top of gearbox down to get interior bucket to lay level so the entire assembly w/body on chassis was level,,but other than that it went together well. It will make a nice addition to the shelf display next to the Lawton stang. Wishing all a happy spring and hope its warming up where you are!

This model was built mostly box stock. The color is a really pretty Jade Metallic green from Testors long ago. The wheels are Minilites as used on vintage Trans Am racers. The side stripes are silver water slides from Keith Marks. This model spent a couple of years in pieces after our cat knocked it off of a high shelf. Fortunately nothing was lost because I keep everything in a zip-lock baggie. And for your really attentive people, yes I know the spoiler is on backwards. I did that on purpose because I think the "right" way just looks wrong.
