  1. Got the new AMT kit. It's not too bad. I just wish they'd get rid of the hippie sunflower decals and add decals for the dash, turn signals, DODGE EMBLEM. You, know, useful decals. At least they have headlight lenses and mirrors in this kit. It's pretty easy to build. No real issues. Went through three paint choices before settling on the red. Doesn't look bad. 2. The newer Revell version. Been wanting another 68 for awhile. The kit is pretty nice and I love how it had the dog dish rims in the kit. I believe I saw someone on here the other day that did one and had a problem with the front end. I did as well. The A-frame for the front wheels doesn't line up right. It pushes the piece for the turn lights up; which in turn messes the grill up. I eventually had to super glue it down. Didn't realize my grill wasn't quite in place at the time. Still it came out looking alright despite the set backs. SAM_1362 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1363 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1364 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1365 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr
  3. I'm working on two models but making separate discussions for them. I'm building a Meyers Manx but we are focusing on my revel beetle. Paint (spray cans): 3 coats of Tamiya white primer, 3 coats of Tamiya ts-34 camel yellow, and 3 coats of Tamiya Ts-13 clear. I did wet sand the body but a little to much on a few places like around a headlight but not to noticeable (I'm a beginner)
  4. This is one of my favorite builds.
  5. I got a Die Cast 1/24 scale M2 machines 66 gt350 doe my birthday. I seem to have a bit of OCD when it comes to models. One of the front wheels wasn't straight and I took it apart to try and figure out why. I never did figure out why the wheel wasn't sraight cuz as I was takin it apart the engine came out and the headers crumbled to pieces.. I also have a amt 68 shelby gt500 kit that has a damaged body and a 428Fe in it. The question is should I or could I put the 428 in he die cast 66 or what?
  6. I gotta 72 c10 gluebomb from a buddy of mine a while back. The windshield is scratched to death and is cracked in he middle a ways ans stuck back togeher with super glue. I was wondering if there is a cheap and relatively easy way to save it.
