The original plan was to paint this Tamiya Metallic green, but something happened on the way to the painting station. I decided to paint it Fathom Green Metallic instead. Here's some pics Thanks for looking! All comments welcomed.

After 12 years, I finally got this one off the bench! Using the intake and exhaust from the 69 Nova kit, and the Air cleaner assembly from (I think) the MPC 69 Camaro kit, I present to you a stock Z/28 RS!

Here is my finished prototype build of the upcoming Model King/Moebius '69 Ford F-100 short bed. I say it's a prototype because it was built from a 2nd round test shot. After review, Moebius decided it needed further adjustment to make it more accurate before production starts. (Probably in early 2015.) I don't think these photos have been posted before. I had originally built this model with chrome bumpers and grill, but I recently stripped the chrome and repainted them white to represent the base model trim level. You'll also notice that the glass tooling had not recieved a final polish on the tooling yet, so the windows in my example are a little hazy. Also, some of these photos were used on the box, so I photoshopped in the license plates, cab emblems and tailgate lettering (which all will be included on the decal sheet) on those pics. Didn't come out too bad. Had a problem with the fit on the front end of the car.

Hi. This is an old Monogram The Judge GTO i put together maby 20 years ago. I took it apart and soaked it in grill/oven cleaner for the night,then washed it. I sanded off the GTO emblems,took off the rear spoiler and removed the tack on the hood. Then it`s painted with Tamiya gunmetal and two layers of Tamiya clear. Chassis and tub are just primed. Not sure where i will be going with this,but it`s on the kitchen table for foil right now. Here are some pics of progress.

Hello there! I'm new to Modelcarsmag and I wanted to start off with a build I did about 2 years ago of one of my favorite car movies and the best version of a 1969 R/T Charger in my book. This is the car from Dirty Mary Crazy Larry I positioned the wheels turned just because that car didn't see to many straight roads. haha Also had to add the little cb antenna like the one in the movie

Hey this was my first model i had ever built. I built it about 5 years ago when i was 11. I ran out of the purpleish maroonish color and painted the hood and front bumper blue. It sat like that for about a year or two until i found the purple paint again and finished the paint job. These pics dont show it but after it sat for another 6 months or so and i decided, "It can't get any worse.". So i decided to be stupid and try to lower it! lol it didnt work very well and the wheels are cambered out because i didnt take into affect that the body will hit the tire and slant them. Soo it looks real bad not but ill try and go rebuild it one day. Hopefully i post these pics correctly, I havent been on here for a while. Nothin to write home about, (Still a few things left to re-glue.) but i figured id share my first model with you guys! Mike Still a few things left to re-glue.

Yenko produced the 427 Nova in 1969 only. There were around thirty built with only seven or eight that are accounted for today. This is the very first one produced. This 1969 Yenko Nova was a car described by Don Yenko in one of his last interviews as “a beast, almost lethal, a car that they should not have produced; as they were skirting the edge of product liability when they built this car”. The Nova was not a COPO high performance 427 motor from the factory. It was built with a transplanted 427 motor as Yenko did with the 1967 and 1968 Camaros. Although GM put factory 427s in Camaro’s and Chevelles, it is known that the GM factory apparently would not put a COPO 427 motor in a Nova. Why not? The most obvious reason would be just as Don Yenko describes himself; using the word “lethal”, and a matter of liability. The body weight of the Nova was less than that of a Corvette. Stuffing a high performance L72 427 Corvette motor in a car of less body weight certainly had to result in tire-smoking performance

I gotta 72 c10 gluebomb from a buddy of mine a while back. The windshield is scratched to death and is cracked in he middle a ways ans stuck back togeher with super glue. I was wondering if there is a cheap and relatively easy way to save it.
