Here's my finished version of the Moebius 66 Ford F-100 short bed pickup which is based on the second round test shot. The tooling is about 95% ready to go at this point and final test shots should be available shortly. Colors I used are Rangoon Red over Wimbledon White. Still waiting on the decals which will include some scripts which are missing from my build up. Moebius is shooting for the first release to be before the end of the year, most likely it will be the 66 Flareside version. Look for a display of these kits at the Detroit Show coming up next month. -Steve

Translation from Brazilian sales listing: "Ford F100 1981 Rat Rod, factory equipped with 4cil engine and four-speed gearbox, revised mechanical part and running perfectly. Original can and paint with minor repairs between the front and rear bumper, not worth restoring, stayed years abandoned under a tree until it was rescued, resurrected and put back to run, so before closing deal have absolute science that you are buying a real mouse, if you need to consult your wife before closing business. If for a moment pass in your head a willingness to restore, easier to buy a new cabin and bucket.* It's running perfectly, I walk every day, documents strictly in days, 2019 paid, registered engine. Value for sale at sight R$ 24.800,00. We are located in the city of Dois Irmãos-RS, service only by appointment. Acquisition by photos is at the buyer's own risk, because it is an old vehicle is sold without warranties and without possibility of further complaints. We deliver throughout Brazil, request budget for your region. Request photos and video." *Pickup bed.

i have been working on this model for a long time . i have gone through two bodies. countless rear fenders . a couple hoods, and three frames . it's sat in a parts box for a few years . While waiting for parts to show up on another build I decided to bring some of my stalled projects out to see if i can breath new life into them . This is one of them this model is in its rough stages . the plan is to have a 6.1 hemi, viper front and rear suspension air bags and as low as i can go . now for some pics

Here is my last build, a 53 Ford F100, from the AMT Diamond in the rough kit. I wanted a truck in a good condition, but weathered, for my garage and junkyard diorama. And that one has a tow bar, perfect for pictures with the trailer ! Some stuff in the interior... Flathead V8. And here is the new project of the shop ! Leave your comments !

And after several hours of agonizing over this and struggling and stripping and sanding and painting and changing my mind and.... wishing I were working on another kit as '56 F100's aren't really my bag at all... I decided to just throw it together and see what happens. It didn't turn out half bad and I tried alot of stuff I've never done before. Paint is all craft store acrylic, washed off with rubbing alcohol, and highlighted with some cheap oil paints. The rest of the build is documented (poorly) here

Ford F100 Wrecker
Dominik posted a topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Hallo everybody, today i will show you my version of the Midnitecowboy, that i built in March 2010. I didn't like the Base from the kit. So my choice was a classic Ford F100 from the shelf - to give him a better style. Sure, this classic Ford is often in my collection... What was my intention for this Built? I wanted a Wrecker that - if you see it behind you in the mirror - shouts out: "Get out of my way!" I took the Kabine and Interior from the Ford, the wrecker and frame from the Kit. Also a engine from a 70 "Heavy Chevelle". There were many changes, till the parts fit together. Some working on the body, made a real heavy bumper. At last, i tried weathering on it and garnished it with some gimmicks, that i tried the first time too.. Alright, you want some pictures - enough of words: ... "Get out of may way!!" the engine: hmmm...the interior needs a clean up... ...think, the driver lives in his wrecker... ...and had even not eaten his pizza! Thats it! Some gimmicks that had stolen my time - if you want, you can go on the search in the pics... Helmet and gloves, wooden blocks, cover, remains of pizza, hemp rope, maps, empty aluminum cans, oil can 1-liter, hand oilers, starter cables, some tool, soda can, broom, fire extinguisher, colored booklet, jumper cables, beer bottles, wire, ceiling crowbar. I think I've not forgotten anything. Maybe the rag in the filler neck? The hammer, wheel crosses or battery? Missing beacon, perhaps? Fuelcan? No - all aboard Thanks for your patience - its your turn- 15 replies

Hi everybody, here i want to show you my Ford F100 Paneltruck. It is the "Harley Davidson"-kit from revell, but the decals were missing in my box. I bought it used. after three different paintjobs i didn't know, what i will do with him and so it goes back in may shelf. time is running and so i took him again, cut out the back doors, built the load room and placed a driver behind the steeringwheel. The guy is always making phinecalls - just like a woman... For finish, i made a classic white-blue colored body. and put some "Stickers" on it. Enough of words, take a look at the pictures: Sure, he had to delivery... ....wait a minute...
