Hello everyone! I picked up this kit as a partially clipped and painted kit that was never finished. Sort of a restore, but its mostly just paint stripping and fixing the poor detail on the kit itself. I LOVE the 2.3L powered Mustangs just because of it severe underdog situation when compared directly to the 5.0L. This build is getting a custom manifold, turbo, intercooler and plumping. Aiming for a sleeper of a street car with a lot of extra details. First order of business was relieving this kit of its 4x4 status. The rear was easy, just clipped down the "spring" posts on the rear axel and make a little extra clearance on the chassis for the wheels to clear. Had to raise the front cross-member up about 1mm to get any significant drop. Was also able to shave some embelishment off of the cross-member section attached to the chassis to get about .3 of a mm. Angled the engine a little bit, but nothing crazy. The exhaust system on this kit was completely lame. So here are the various stages I have so far of my upgrading. Little comparison.
