Hi all,,I finished the Malco car this week,,had a bit of prob w/front tilt setup,so just made it removable. It turned out ok. Also revised the interior to a single seat setup,,changed the back slicks,,and the front rims to cragers,,the stock front rims had too much sink spots,,egde of rim flashing ect. Different roll bar, added some x-tra gauges, and the rear wheelie bar set up was bizzare. Theres holes in lower valance for the bars,,but they dont line up w/the wheelie bar assembly,,but the rear bumper had 2 premolded "holes" that did line up to the wheelie bar assy. But no holes in rear for them,,had to drill those out. All in all,,nice kit to have,,but did have to change a few things. Some may have had better luck w/all these things,,it is what it is. Enjoy all the works in here,,keep rockin! S

Finally getting a chance to post the finished photos. They are courtesy of my Daughter Rachael, I had to wait until she was done with her school finals. The model was actually done it time to display at the NNL East. All in all I'm very pleased with how it came out. It did fight me all the way, mostly due to me and Murphy's Law although it's 40 year old plus design did make for a few challenges. Of course you may want to consider I was building out of my mostly factory stock element. The photo above probably shows the paint best. The Metalflake effect was actually done with course metallic and pearls. I thought it would look more in scale then the Metalflake paints I've seen. The kit decals includes just about variation, I chose to go with how it looked on the Car Craft magazine cover. Thanks for looking, If you missed the on the workbench build up here the link .... -Steve http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=87997&hl=
