    Got 12 empty bottles of Testors Liquid Cement and gallons of lacquer thinner plus a quart of MEK. Is one better than the other for joining styrene?

    I bought an MPC 1968 Promo car with a few missing parts and an area of body gone. I can fix it with parts of a currently-available model kit. Is there a glue that will adhere to both materials: promo & kit styrene? I did search for previous threads on the subject but what i found only dealt with acetate promos.

    I got a free bottle of testors clear part and window maker cement the other day. I've never used it before because I normally use my friend Elmer. I thought I'd try it out by making a dome light for my demon. I made a bezel then I squeezed out some of the cement. is this stuff supossed to be this thick? it looks like thick snot. Excuse the description but that is what it looks like. I don't know how you'd make a window with this stuff. Is this normal for this stuff or did I get a bad bottle?
