Unfortunately I can´t open the front mask to show you the engine. Maybe something is too tight and I´m afraid to break some parts.

I started this in November of 2017 so I figured I’d better finish it before I start any new kits. So far it has been going together just fine and the only incident was yesterday when I dropped the hood on the carpet after the final coat of red. Into the alcohol bath it went and I repainted it this morning. I love all the crazy aero stuff on these cars.

Well, I finally wrapped this up. I opted to not apply the tire decals due to fat-finger difficulties (I messed up). I also got two more Mercedes kits this week, both from Japan.

I’m in the process of fitting a bumper on a frustrating Revell AMG GT so while it’s clamped and drying I thought I’d start prepping the next project. I acquired these from my wife for my birthday last year and decided to build them in parallel since they are the different generations of the same car. They just came out of the soap bath and have been dried with the garage compressor. Let the fun begin.

Finished up the 1994 DTM car. I don’t care for how the decals turned out the full sheets of the D2 wrap wrinkled. Given that they’re 24 years old, I’m glad they were as good as they are.

Hello. I have been searching the Internet in need of some advice for converting racing model kits into a stock version of the car, since some models come only as "rally" or "DTM" versions and I prefer much more the original one. In this case I have bought the 1/24 Tamiya Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti "Jagermeister", which has racing (wider) fenders and side skirts I need to get rid of. The interior comes with rollbar, a simple dashboard and the two bucket seats; I guess there will be quite a lot of work to do there, but not as much as the exterior. The idea is to make a slightly tuned berlina. As I said, I want to narrow the body's with, but do not know really how to in order to avoid ruining the model. I think I may have to cut them with a dremel or something similar, and fill the rest with styrene and putty. Has anyone got ideas for this?. Thank you. https://m.imgur.com/r/ModelCars/i7kJe -

Hello, I've just joined this forum, and I wanted to share some of my models with you. I built this at the start of the year and finished it about two months ago. It is Revell's 2009 Audi A4 DTM. I converted this from Timo Schneider's matt black car to Mattias Ekström's very striking Red Bull sponsored car. I wrote an article on this model, which featured in the latest issue of the IPMS(UK) magazine. This has been one of the most fun I've had whilst building a model, and it certainly has the best colour scheme of any model I've built! I am currently having a break from motorsport models and building two Revell kits side-by-side, the 2010 Camaro SS and 2013 Mustang Boss 302. I'll post a WIP of those up on here soon. Thanks, Jake
