Here’s another one of my 3d printed builds. The car in question will be an Holden LJ Torana funny car from way back in the early 70s. It was powered at first by a blown Small Block and then powered by a nitro blown Big Block Chev which I believe came out of a race boat. The car has been on a few covers of the Australian hotrod magazines throughout that time period due to its fiery burnouts. the picture of it roofless happened only because the roof caved in at the start line at Castlereagh drag strip. So the crew actually cut the roof of and just went full send with it. Enough of the cars history it time to show the beginning mock-ups for it. I am using a 3d printed Logge chassis which is incorrect for it as it ran I believe a Don Hardy style chassis but I’m not really for accuracy. The body has been modified by me a fair bit on tinkercad. The blower hat is temporary. The colours will be SMS paints mainly purple and orange flames. But that’s it for now stay tuned for more.

I hope this is cool with the Moderators! It shouldn't be a problem, since the publication it's from is the long, long defunct Car Model Magazine. For those of you interested in building Revell's Hawaiian FC, these resources should help you, tremendously. I used to have it available through a website, but, since it's no longer online, I thought I'd share it, here. Hope some of you can use it! Obviously, some of this stuff applies to dragsters and altereds, as well. There is obviously the color scan, but, also beneath that is the PDF file of Jim Keeler's entire article. SnakePit.pdf
