Greetings from sunny South Africa. I started building models when I was about 6 or 7 and built mostly aircraft until that wonderful day I discovered 1/24 car models. I think I was about 12 or 13 yrs old. It was a MPC Ford Bronco and it was a disaster, but I was hooked. Built off and on til my mid 20's. Then life got in the way. Now at age 47 I have picked up again. I am currently busy with a Nissan R34 GTR and have 7 or 8 other kits lined up for the bench. My 10 yr old daughter has taken an interest and has built two snap-tite kits with my assistance. the Revell 63 Corvette and 34 Ford. No paint or detailing, just the kit stickers. One day when I have more confidence in my abilities I may rebuild both kits and add engine's and other details. I have a very broad taste in cars from muscle cars and hot rods to tuners and European sports cars. If it has an engine and four wheels then chances are I am interested in it. I am hoping to learn a lot from other members on this forum.
