So its 8 degrees here today,,{how nice} and its perfect model building weather. Completed is the Revell 70' Trans am. One of my fav GM body styles. When I lived in Ann Arbor Mi in the late 70's,,a girl I dated had her father who owned a T/A like this one,, she used to take us out in it,,she let me drive it a few times,,what an awsome car! So heres my recent version. Kit was tough to build on a few things,,had to make clearance for chassis to fit up under body,,but I always assemble all body fronts,,valences ect 1st,,then paint as one assembled unit,,so maybe that contributed to the fit issue. Sprayed can hardware store blue,,hand painted everything else. And some basic wiring,,pretty simple but looks cool on the shelf! Cheers!

Hi all fellow builders,,wishing you a happy thanksgiving coming up. I always enjoy the oddball,,not so popular kits to build. This is one I got for 10$ at April #DAMM show in SE Mich. Its the 1996 pop of Jack Baldwins SCCA trans-am Camaro. First off,,its not the color scheme of the original car,,but I like it in light blue just the same. It went together fairly well,,the decals were scary,,trying to get them to hug the radius scallops/lines on doors ect. I used the decal micro-soft stuff,,and after a while they went on decent. Added some minor wiring/plumbing,, not a contest car,,but a good addition to my shelf. Hope this finds you doing well! Build on!

Hi all,,heres my version of the 1/25th Revell 68' vette,,,,I did it as a combo car,,drag/Tran-am style,,sortof like you could use the car for either style. I did a few mods to it,,different windshield, rims + tires, scratch built roll bar,put wing on the trunk deck. Side pipe headers are from the spare parts bx. Put different headrests on seats. Other than that its the stock kit. Just a different spin on the Vette,,thanks for looking,,and happy building!
