Made a few minor tweaks to the Motor City Resin Kurbmaster kit to get it closer to the Chevy C20 shown in my references. Very nice kit, and good for my first resin kit given the simple shapes and low parts count. Decals by Speedway; roof-mounted AC unit and ladder racks scratchbuilt. Ladders are from an AMT American LaFrance fire truck. The lights are a modified Custom Squads item, and the sirens are from the Downrange Productions store on Shapeways. Chris -
Johnny Lightning Coca-Cola van, stripped & repainted with Tamiya pure white. Custom decals by Speedway. I added the oval-shape to the front grille to backdate it. The '97 also featured a different side mirror design than depicted on the Johnny Lightning model, so the mirrors themselves are from the AMT rescue van, attached to mounts shaped from music wire. The roof-mounted corner mirror is from the AMT ALF Eagle pumper kit. The "windows" in the side doors are black decal. The three roof-mounted floodlights are Shapeways items from the Downrange Productions store. Chris

Roof lights are a modified Custom Squads item, and decals by Speedway. Body paint is from automotivetouchup.com, and I used Alclad chrome on the grille and wheel covers. Chris

This is the very nice Norscot Tahoe, factory-painted white. I added Speedway Decals, pillar spotlights & siren speakers from Shapeways, roof lights from Custom Squads, scratchbuilt/spares box antennas, and the wraparound parts of the grille guard were shaped from brass rod and added to the center kit part. Custom decals by Speedway Decals. I swapped the stock wheels that come with the white model for the police-style steel wheels of the police boxing. The push bumper is from the Welly Tahoe with Shapeways siren speakers. Pillar spotlights from the spares box. Chris

This is the Motor Max diecast model that Testors reboxed in kit form; custom decals by Speedway; spotlights, grille strobes, and roof light mounts are 3-D printed Shapeways items. Grille guard is scratchbuilt, and the dash-mounted radar is from policecarmodels.com Chris

Built these for a couple of retired Tyler officers. These are the AMT Joker Goon Car/Gotham City police boxing, with wheels, tires, and overhead lights by Custom Squads, and custom decals by Speedway. Jonah

Wheels & rear deck lights from Custom Squads, decals by Speedway Decals. This represents a patrol vehicle that was reconfigured for duty as a supervisor's car, so I simulated a few rubber plugs where the wiring for the roof lights & antennas were removed.

1/24 MotorMax diecast model with some parts from Lindberg's plastic kit. Decals by Speedway. The 1:1 The 1:24 The MotorMax model comes with mag wheels/low profile tires, so I substituted the Lindberg wheels/tires to get closer to the police look. Jonah

Lindberg's 1/25 1996-97 Crown Vic, backdated to a '92. Ford CV experts will note that I compromised a bit on the backdating around the taillights/rear bumper, but it looks more like a 92 than it did when I started, and it was a fun project. Maybe on the next one I'll aim for a more authentic conversion on the back end! Thanks for looking, Jonah
