First off, please, please, please add modelcarsmag.com to your safe or "white" list of IP addresses for your email or Internet service providers. If not, you may not get the account verification email to activate your account.

Do No Attempt to register more than one account per person. Doing so will result in the deletion of all your accounts.

If your IP address does not match the location in your profile, your registration may not be validated. This helps us prevent spammers and BOTS from attacking the site. The use of Proxies, or Proxy Blockers, will also result in a block of your registration and/or use of the forum.

If your IP address does not match your current physical location, or if you try and cheat the system, by using a location that you are not at, putting in false information, or trying to be funny, you will have your account denied, your IP address blocked, and all future use or access to or of the forum will be denied. 

If you have not received the validation email, then this could be why. We are seeing more and more hacker attempts using false IP locations/addresses, and we have to be aggressive in the way that new registrations are dealt with. 

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this bulletin board.

If you don't agree with what someone is posting, that's fine, we all have our own opinions, and that's what a discussion forum is all about! Do Not turn into a 'bar room brawl' thread.

The basic rule is "attack the post, not the poster". Always treat people with the same level of respect which you yourself would expect to receive yourself. Flaming, name calling, off-humor cartoons or images, sarcastic comments, will not be, and is NOT permitted. Period.

We take a very dim view of 'trolls' who come here simply to disrupt the forum. Activities deemed as Trolling include (but are not restricted to):

Due to the recent attacks and online negative comments posted here on the forum, and account or user that displays this type of behavior will have his or her account deleted, the associated IP block banned, and all posts/threads/comments for the account will be deleted and removed. 

• Flooding the board with comments coming from a single point of view in pretty much every posting made.

   

• Posting something which is against the forum rules

   

• Posting something deliberately inflamatory - either to start a "flame war" or simply to cause difficulties for the moderators

   

• Posting continuous snide comments about another user

   

• Posting continuous criticism of mods and their moderating*

   

• Behaviour which is continually disruptive to the general membership of the forum

   

• Belittling someone because their beliefs are different than your own

   

• Proving that you are a better model builder than someone else because you think you know everything
